If you're familiar with Bruce Weber's photography, then it's likely you've come across Alexandre Verga. The Brazilian model has done shoots for Guess and Abercrombie & Fitch — but that almost wasn't the case. After his family moved to Orlando in '94, his father's career as a pilot didn't take off, and they moved back to Brazil. Except for Verga. He stayed in the States, though it was only when he returned home in '99 did an agent discover him, bring him back to the U.S. – though this time to New York – and begin Verga's much sought-after modeling career.
