Filipino actor Polo Ravales has been working steadily since 1995, when he first appeared on a teen television show. Since then, Ravales has gone on to act in a number of soap operas, as well as more serious television programs.
Despite all his success, Ravales has said his ultimate goal's to open his own restaurant. Hopefully he'll be on the menu. Take a look at the fixings, after the jump....

Yawn
I agree. It's alright. A little too polished, a little to... like everything else - even down to being yet another latino. Loves me some latinos but c'mon, Queerty! A little variety wouldn't hurt you.
very cheezy.
Latino? Errr... since when were people of the Phillippinos considered latinos? The continent his ancestry is from is Asia, not the Americas...
Here's a map. Yikes.
I've met a lot of gay Filipinos in the past that insisted they weren't Asians because of all the Spanish blood mixing into their country...
But if you don't read the bit, I can see why someone would think this guy's Latino...
I'm just going by his name - if Queerty writes anything surrounding the pictures, I'm loathed to read it. That said though, the Phillipines were once highly controled/influenced by the Spanish in the same way that much of Central and South America were. Yet we call those individuals Latinos even when they may have little or no Spanish blood in them. So why is it such a stretch to think that an individual of perhaps some Spanish descent with a decidedly hispanic name - despite not coming from a spanish-speaking country - be considered Latino as well? I confess, I was completely ignorant of his heritage and without DNA analysis we can't conclude that his has no Spanish blood in him. But if you still want to be a nasty little queen...
Why do *all* (and I mean all) white gay guys have a latino fetish? It's so odd.
I've seen hotter guys in the pages of International Male...
My comment wasn't directing toward you, WTF. I meant that this guy look more Latino than Asian, and it was understandable if someone who just saw the photos alone would think he's Latino...
Way too much lispstick. But that's always a problem. It's apparent in close-ups in movies - you can see the guy's lips are obviously painted.
Still, it's kind of funny that male models get their faces made up to stand around naked ...
It seems like there are a lot of racist readers on here. Makes me sick.
It's shocking and appalling that readers seem so willing to express their bigotry and ignorance when their commenting on how attractive or unnattractive they find the "morning goods" models. The fact that most of these debates take place when Queerty choses a model that challenges standard Westernized ideals of beauty (i.e., a model who does not look like a White man out of a Abercrombie & Fitch catalog) is very revealing about what kinds of images our homogenized, middle class aspiring "gay culture" of today is willing to accept and privilege. Is it acceptable to readers that people of color are continually taught by Western society (which has infiltrated and now influences basically every corner of the world) that their beauty is to be subordinated to these repetitive images of white middle and upper class life? How many of these readers jump at the chance to comment on how "hot" or "sexy" some run of the mill white model looks, and then just as easily jump at the chance to let everyone know how little they think of other portrayals of aesthetic beauty? I would challenge many of these readers to take a step back and look at what they think is attractive and why. Is it just a "personal preference," a phrase so many white people are apt to use in their efforts to explain and justify their racial prejudices, or could it be that we have all been taught by our society that white is beautiful and deviations from that is ugly or "just not my thing"? I sincerely hope that at least some of the readers try to interrogate these issues within themselves. Who knows, you all might learn something abotu yourselves.
christian_value just made me all sticky in my pants.
christian_value is a golden god.
As for Ravales, I went to high school with him, and stared at him from a distance. That's about the only interaction I've shared with him.
I like his shorts, they look cute.
And NYStudman, it's just a fact of modelling and appearing on cameras generally, that you need makeup on your face and body, otherwise the skin doesn't reflect light properly, particularly under artificial light. And if you've got lots of foundation on, then naturally you need colour in your lips and around your eyes too to avoid looking unhealthy.
"Morning Goods: Polo Ravales
Filipino Actor Serves It Up"
Didn't have to read to much to figure out he was Filipino. It was @ the top near the date...kinda hard to miss.
