We're thrilled to itty bits over the news that French electronic duo Justice are releasing a new album!
It's not that we don't love their 2003 remix of Simian's "Never Be Alone", but we've just been itching for a new dance club classic. We're not sure how their fresh full-length, †, stands up to their previous aural offerings, but we're digging their first single, D.A.N.C.E., which we've included above.
For those few of you who haven't heard the boys' take on Simian's single, we've included the video after the jump. And, to all of you going out this weekend, be sure to have a D.A.N.C.E. for us...
BTW: † drops on June 18th. Get excited!

We don't know about you guys, but we're all sorts of excited about stepping out this Friday evening. Not only do we need to let off some steam, but we're looking forward to getting down with New York City's freaky population. As 80s-era rap outfit Whodini explains, "The Freaks Come Out At Night". That way they can hide in shadows and surprise you with their freakiness.
And, because we're so pumped about this evening's forthcoming festivities, we've included Whodini's "Rap Machine" after the jump. Computers may not be able to replace rap, but they make hot beats...

Thank god for New Yorker's music critic, Sasha Frere-Jones. Had it not been for SFJ's ever attentive ear, we never would have heard of lesbian hip-hoppers, Yo Majesty.
The ladies - Shunda-K, Jwl. B and Shon-B - hail from Tampa, Florida, and have dedicated their bass-heavy, unrefined sound to giving the world what it needs: "soul stirring". And with lyrics like, "Rub on my monkey, kiss on my monkey, feel on my monkey," they're stirring more than just souls.
We're so excited by the girls' sapphic sounds, we've included not one, not two, but three videos! Above you'll see the video for "Club Action". After the jump you can get down on "Hustle Mode" and an interview between Yo Majesty and The Gossip's leading lesbian (and Keira Knightley's weight-gaining "inspiration"), Beth Ditto.

Britain's Lucky Soul puts the past back in pop with their debut album, The Great Unwanted. Fronted by the blond, optimistic Ali Howard, the sextet offer unabashed, somewhat nostalgic celebrations of love's highs and woes. Above you'll see the video for "Lips are Unhappy" and after the jump you can feast your eyes (and ears!) on the horn heavy, "Add Your Light to Mine, Baby".
If you like what you see (and, again, hear), you're one lucky soul, because Lucky Soul has an entire YouTube gallery.

Joe Budden may not be the biggest player in hip-hop, but he's sure got some powerful enemies. Not only did he inadvertently start a feud with The Game and G Unit with some improved lyrics - [the] G-Unit [music] video with all the gangsta actors" - but he's also reportedly had a falling out with Jay-Z.
Perhaps that's why Budden's yet to release his second album through Def Jam, which Universal honcho Jay-Z operates. Oh well, we'll always have his eponymous debut and its underrated single, "Pump It Up".
We first heard Alejandro Sanz's "Te lo agradezco pero no" whilst crawling out from under a wicked hangover. A friend of ours decided it would be a real laugh to play the Spanish pop-star's hit at ear piercing levels. We weren't laughing. In fact, we found the situation so unhumorous, we developed a visceral hatred for the song - and the friend.
A few months and a few forced listens later, however, we've learned to love Sanz's single, which also features hip-shaking songstress, Shakira. In fact, we love it so much, we bought his entire album, El Tren de los Momentos. As for the aforementioned associate - he's still off the roster, but we're glad he woke us that dreadful morning.
Will Smith stands as one of the most famous men in America. Considering his starring roles in such flicks as Men in Black, Independence Day and, most recently, Happyness, it's easy to forget Smith's just a kid from Philadelphia. Let's get back to Smith's roots with two of his first singles, "Summertime" and "Parents Just Don't Understand". Wise words, Mr. Smith. Wise words...
Let's take a little trip back to 1997, the year Ellen came out, Madeleine Albright became the first female Secretary of State, Princess Diana died and Radiohead released their third full-length, OK Computer, establishing themselves as one of the most talented musical outfits of the modern age.
Today, we celebrate that landmark album by posting two of the album's singles, "Paranoid Android" (above) and "Karma Police" (after the jump). Enjoy!

We found this video from Motown Records' Penelope Jones by accident. It's such a beautiful day here in New York, we wanted something catchy and light. Then, we started thinking about those gay flamingos and thought of the song song, "Celebration" from Kool and the Gang. Our aural associates deemed it "cheesy", which we thought to be part of the fun. But, we conceded and, by chance, clicked on the link to Mya's "Lock You Down". It kind of stinks, but we like some of her old singles, so we went on a little Mya mission, you could say.
Among the lyrical list, we found this fresh video from someone named "Penelope Jones' single "No Matter What They Say", featuring Mya's sonic skills. Always ones to try something new, we gave it a little listen. It's not quite "Celebration", but it's certainly got its charm. We love any girl who describes herself as "ride 'n die".
(Oh, and we also included "Celebration", after the jump.)

Let's start this week on a high note, shall we? And ain't nothing as high as Beyonce's dress in his video for "Get Me Bodied" of B'Day.
We have the exact same piece, but the NYPD asked us to retire the look after it proved too short to accommodate, if you know what we mean. And we think you do...
The sounds a bit wonky, so we're also including the pop star's "Upgrade You" featuring her main squeeze, Jay-Z. After the jump, of course...

We're feeling particularly "hip" today, so we decided to throw on a little Chromeo. The Canadian/American electro/funk duo, Pee Thug and Dave 1 reached their peak with last year's "Needy Girl," put out by Vice magazine's record imprint. Irony not included.
But, seriously, Chromeo may read like some pre-packed aural bullshit, but their sound recalls those funky days of early hip-hop. They hit more of an electronic note in their other single, "Rage," which we've included...after the jump, of course...

Thank god for those fire breathing, long tongued American rockers, Kiss. We originally planned on posting one of their videos, but found Romanian boy band Akcent's hot for teacher single, "French Kiss". Can we just say that we're in love? So good looking! So well-mannered! So talented!
She comes to class at half past sevenIt sounds better with a canned (yet catchy) Euro-electro pop beat.
Me and the boys think she's heaven
Mademoiselle Angelina french will teach
And we know it very well she's a little bitch
