Founded in 1972, The Cramps made a name for themselves by making a name for their sound: psychobilly. Influenced by multiple cultural trends, including surf rock, B-movies and The Ramones, the rotating rock outfit recorded fourteen albums, although none proved to be more successful than 1990's Bikini Girls With Machine Guns.
This track - "Garbageman" - comes from 1980's Songs The Lord Taught Us, Off The Bone. You'll notice the video doesn't look like something from 1980. That's because it isn't.
The original video proved to be too poor quality, so we've posted an artistic revision from someone named Ariel Hahn. We know nothing about this Hahn character - except, of course, that he or she made a fucking rocking video to an even more rocking song.
