Fans and critics alike are awaiting the release of LCD Soundsystem's second album, Sound of Silver. The side-project of DFA Records founder James Murphy, LCDS first caught the collective cultural eye back in 2005 with their single, Losing My Edge, but wouldn't become DJ staples until the release of "Daft Punk is Playing at My House". Their self-titled full-length debut garnered them two Grammy awards and cemented their status as one of the most inventive - and, more importantly, entertaining - electronic collectives of recent years.
Here's the video for their immensely popular single, "Disco Infiltrator".
I don't think "electronic collective" even remotely describes the band, but hey, whatever.
Dude is talented; too bad he's shilling product for Nike, one of the world's least ethical corporations!
is J. Murphy gay? i know, for a second i may be speaking like those kindda desperate and intriguing queers, but it just crossed my mind right now...
