


Anyone who was shocked when George Michael came out obviously never saw this clip from 1988. Leaving the daisy-duke cutoffs and poofy hair behind as relics of his Wham! days, "Monkey" features George exploring the more modern, playful aspects of the gay-ass fashion of the day. Blossom was still three years off and the whole "silly hats and suspenders" movement didn't really start to pick up steam until the early '90s—then again, George always was ahead of his time.
