Morning Aural: Miho Hatori
Japanese Songstress Strikes Out on Her Own


We've been in love with Japanese singer Miho Hatori since her days with Cibo Matto. While CM's not making any music these days, Hatori's been hard at work on her solo endeavor, Ecdysis.

While we haven't heard the entire album, we j'adore her single "Barracuda". Check out the video and then head on over to her website for more of her innovative sound.

FUCKING RIGHT ON! Thanks guys for bringing some joyous news! I had no idea Miho was back in the studio. Now, her particular style may not be for everyone, but it sure beats the hell out of every third DList profile page spouting that goddamned Scissor Sisters anthem "I Don't Feel Like Dancing". UGH. Love ya, Jake, but not THAT much.
