Above you see the video for "Heartbeats" by Swedish-born, Argentinian blooded Jose Gonzalez. Below you see the same song by Swedish rock outfit, The Knife. We won't say which one we prefer, but we'd love to hear what you kids have to say. So, give 'em both a twirl, form some sort of opinion and let us have it!
the knife' skinda cool, not so neat as Jose's. Real up the volume and go nuts to. I like both:)
Not exactly a fair comparison, as the Jose Gonzalez "music video" is actually an insanely high-budget concept ad for Sony Bravia televisions. Also, his version of the song is a cover of The Knife's original.
Nonetheless, the Bravia ad is off-the-charts amazing, The Knife video is uncompromisingly cool, and both versions of the song are addictively, well, addictive. Gotta love Northern Europe!
Not even a contest...Jose's version is sultry, enticing and all out sexy. Albeit the original, I was waiting for 99 luftbaloons to start playing with Knife's version.
The videos, again, are no comparison; with Sony fitting the bill for Jose's, it had better be the champion, but Knife's video was (in my opinion) the only redeeming part of the experience.
Later...off to try and find an MP3 version of Jose's.
