FBI Complaint Filed In Hutcherson "Mission"
Seek Answers in "White House" approved Latvia Trip

Former American footballer and virulent homophobe Ken Hutcherson made a few headlines over the past few days after claiming the White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives sent him to Latvia as the "Special Envoy for Adoptions, Family Values, Religious Freedom, and Medical Relief".

As part of his duties, Hutcherson was apparently meant to derail Latvia's gay rights movement. During one meeting, Hutcherson started an investigation into whether the US Embassy had been lending support to gay activists. Now, the FBI may be looking into whether or not Hutcherson nothing more than a liar, liar with hire pants on fire.

Here's a little snippet from some of Hutcherson's "audio evidence" of his mission:

We are here to make sure the United States is not being used to push any right that subdued other rights. And I have the power and the commission to ask these questions.
Near collapse under the weight of scandal, the White House claims no knowledge of such a trip. In addition to that audio clip, Hutcherson also claims to have a video of a meeting between himself and Jay Hein, the director of the White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives, as well as Latvia's Pastor Alexei Ladyaev.

In an effort to clear up the matter, a Seattle lawyer named Dave Coffman as filed a complaint with the FBI to determine whether or not Hutcherson violated federal law. Currently, the complaint's centering on whether or not Hutcherson violated section 912 of the federal criminal code:

Whoever falsely assumes or pretends to be an officer or employee acting under the authority of the United States or any department, agency or officer thereof, and acts as such, or in such pretended character demands or obtains any money, paper, document, or thing of value, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.
Depending on their findings, the government will either have to fess up to sending Hutcherson to Latvia or let him take the fall. We're leaning toward the fall. Why stop when you're on a roll, right?
