The Public Reminder to the Original Christian Congregation in the First Century went like this :

1 Cor 6: 9, 11 : " Neither fornicators , nor idolators , nor adulterers , nor men kept for unnatural purposes , nor men who lie with men , ...will inherit Gods Kingdom .And Yet that is what some of you were. But you have been washed clean , you have been sactified , you have been declared rightious in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and with the Spirit Of Our God." Regardless of such a background , if persons now abandon their former unclean practices , and apply Gods Righteous Standards , and exercise faith in his provision for forgiveness of sins through Christ , they can enjoy a clean standing Before God.After Reforming , they may be welcomed in the Christian Congregation .

One Point no one ever seems to remember is this : Jesus Gave Full instructions to his followers as to the proceedures on handling cases of sin in the congregation and indicated that it could result in ones being expelled , so that the individual would be to the congregation as " just a man of the nations , and a tax collector "( Matt 18 ; 15-17 ) .Tax Collectors were looked down upon in the first century , because many were extortioners or worse..

A Jew who was a tax collector was considered a renegade , classed with sinners , ( Mark 2: 16 ) . And Yet Jesus and his diciples were still under the the law , but in principle the same proceedure continued to guide the Christian Congregation .

Some of the offenses that could merit disfellowshipping or ( excommunication )from the Christian Congregation were fornication , Adulterey , homosexuality , greed , extortion , thievery , lying , drunkeness , reviling , spiritism ( witchcraft ) ,murder , idolatry , apostasy , and the causing of divisions in the Congregation .

The Public announcement was even used in the First Century congregation for those who had been convicted of such a practice as listed above ,so that the sin is exposed before the entire congregation as being a practice of conduct not befitting of a true Christian " that the rest also may have fear " - 1Timothy 5 :20

By exercising this God Given Authority the Christian Congregation keeps itself clean and in good standing gefore God even today .

Many young gay members of the Jehovah Witness cult have been driven to suicide. The gay community must speak out against this organization because gay children are routinely kicked out of homes and made homeless by this organization.

The organization also is strict and prevents members from accessing safer sex information that could slow the spread of HIV. I personally know several members of the gay community that have been kicked out of the organization and then defamed by members that they thought were their friends just because they are gay. This organization wants gays dead.
