Unfortunately, I have my doubts on justice being served to the bashers. It just takes one fast talking lawyer to argue that it was the driver of the car's fault- then the decision to take him off the machines- that really killed this man- and not the events that preceeded it.

My heart is just broken upon reading this latest update on Michael Sandy. This is on outright crying shame. I did read in the Post this morning that should he pass, the charges will be heavier against those arrested in his robbery and attack.

My prayers and heart are with the Sandy family. Maybe, hopefully, justice will be served.

What's the deal with the person who struck him? Where's CSI New York? Seriously, shouldn't they have found the car by now? And hence, it's owner and/or driver? They too, should be charged. Not with a hate crime, but with leaving the scene of an accident. One that resulted in death. Scumbags, all of them!

please publicize the fact that there is a rally on Monday at 5pm at city hall. This is important.

may he rest in peace & may the individuals responsible for such a horrible tragedy come to realize the infinite error of their ways.

As horrible as it is that he died, he DID meet four random men on the internet just to have sex with them.... Didn't we learn from..oh...lets say..toddler age...that we never get into a car with a stranger..LET alone FOUR strangers....? For sex, even!

Not saying he deserved to die...but when you do something stupid like that, you are taking an extremely high risk, and there are consequences....

It wasn't like he was just walking down the street and got bashed by four men, and then robbed and killed. This is a completely different thing.

My friend Mike was not stupid. Have you ever thought that he might have met one and the others came onto the scene.
Have you even really been reading about this story because there are articles that have posted the actual chain of events. And how he was actually directed to the area by John Fox after they had already met.

I guess whatI'm saying is that one should really gather all of the facts before commenting on My friend Mike.
