Mugabe Bans Gays
Human Rights Never Looked So Shitty

mugabe.jpg

Robert Mugabe (pictured) and his insanity never cease to amaze us. In the latest installment of his absurd governmental mania, the 82 year old leader of Zimbabwe has taken some time off from stealing land and printing copious amounts of worthless money to ban gays and lesbians from a....wait for it....human rights commission.

365 Gay reports:

The Zimbabwean government has banned gays and lesbians from participating in a United Nations sponsored meeting between the government and human rights groups.

The 3-day meeting taking place in Kariba was organized following UN concerns about human rights abuses in the African nation. The meetings are expected to lay the groundwork for an independent Human Rights Commission in Zimbabwe.

Um, what the fuck is the UN doing sponsoring a meeting between Zim. officials and human rights groups? Seriously, they'd have better results trying to get Bush to admit the US knew about 9/11, or - an even longer shot - getting Clay Aiken to suck dick on video.

Also, isn't the idea of a Zimbabwe Human Rights Commission a bit...oh, contradictory? Whatever, we're not surprised. Mugabe's hatred of gays knows no bounds. He has been quoted as calling gays "less than dogs." Charming, no?

Maybe they should change the name of Zimbabwe back to Rhodesia.

Even if he wasn't in office there would be another dumbass that hates gay people in place.

What the fuck is wrong with you guys? An almost flawless comment, until the last line. What the hell does Rhodesia have to do with Robert's insane homophobia? Colonial powers were no less homophobic... and making a reference to the colonial past only reveals a tragic ignorance. Target the enemy, nothing else.

Instant Moyo says:

On the issue of gays alone Robert Mugabe is correct. Just because he is wrong on every other issue, does not mean he is wrong on gays. This is one issue he holds the support of all the nation, a rare concensus for Mugabe these days.

Heterosexuals if all was well, would take refuge in Zimbabwe. The rest of the world is being bullied into accepting the idea that two men having sex is normal. Well in reality it is not normal and no amount of gay funding and lobbying will change that fact.

I sincerely hope that the next generation of leadership will ask the nation before changing the gat stance. The nation will say no to any relaxing of the law.

Hob Nob says:

Labelling Mugabe insane is a prelude to giving him a back door escape route which will allow him to get away with his human rights abuses on the grounds of "not guilty by insanity".
He is NOT insane. He is very sane. He is very evil and he MUST be held accountable, no back door escape routes.
Instant Moyo, however, has questionable sanity.....

Instant Moyo says:

If you go to Zimbabwe and polled the population on whether or not Mugabe is right on his stance on gays, you would get over 90 percent agreeing with him, me included.

There is nothing of a human rights issue thing about being gay. Guays are only efficient at bullying the rest of society into keeping silent about the practice, but the truth is people do not agree with their children turning to gay practices.

Its not a human rights issue. its simply an issue of whether the population of Zimbabwe agrees with it or not. The human rights come in when the practitioner is beaten up or abused. That I do not agree with because they really only affect each other with consent.

Ah, poor Instant Moyo. Time and time again, we're reminded of the pain and horror of being the oppressed majority. Not to mention the anguish of not being able to return to the dark ages, which is what you've been indoctrinated to aim for. I'm sure we all feel better now that you've shared your fearfulness with everyone.
