We know gays are meant to be "happy," and we really hate to be bummers [well, not always, of course], but we have more depressing news. Pioneer journalist John Wilson died yesterday in his New York City apartment. A founding member of the National Lesbian and Gay Journalist Assocation, Wilson paved the way for a new generation of homo-journos [ourselves included]. A paltry 56 year of age, Wilson held editorial positions at a number of papers, including The New York Times, which provided an equally paltry obituary.
