If Poland is in the dark ages, where does the leave us?

Just think if we took the same attitude - “I am not willing to meet bigots.” We would have made far less progress.

And yet, the most adored and loved man in all of Polish history, Frederic Chopin, was gay.

I'm Polish and I'm actually embarassed by this...it's so sad how the Kaczynski's have corrupted Poland...Poland will soon be a country with nothing to look forward to...and relatives tell me to come visit them...haven't been there in 4 yrs and i DONT plan on going back there to visit those assholes.

Heh, note that Jarosław lives with his MUM and a CAT. The foremer president of Poland Lech Wałęsa, while inviting him to some Big Important BBQ, told him to 'come with his husband'. A friend from high school laughed out loud when asked if Jarosław dated many girls. Of course, I'm not implying that he's gay, of course not, never! He said he is not and we believe him!

Well, Poland is a specific country, with a history and traditions that keep as special. I actually really do like it the new president, he is not like the old one with a wife maybe beautiful that use a charity for her personal reason of making money. The new president fights with the corruptions and actually caress to about Poland. Yes we are in EU; however, we are still individual country. I do not have nothing against gay, however, I do no want to Poland to be like an England or States where being gay becomes more and more popular. Actually to be Gay is cool and gives people popularity. Plus he is right; the percentage of HIV in Gay society is huge. They more likely have sex with random partners and I know that as a fact I live in States and have many Gay friends. I Think they are nice people just do not like their style of life.

Gay people in the USA are treated like second class citizens; look in your own backyard! In the USA, heterosexual serial killers, child molesters and plain old murders on death row are allowed to legally get married -- but, American-born gay doctors, professors, policemen, ministers, firemen, business-owners AND soldiers serving in Iraq cannot. Does THAT make ANY sense?
