President Bush Speaks Out on Mary Cheney's Love Child!
Has Emotion!

bushspeaks.jpg
This is big. This is really big. It's so big that The New York Times is reporting on it. Huge!

President Bush's government may be teetering dangerously close to the edge, but Georgie's still got time for a little heart-to-heart with People Magazine.

It seems the tabbie got the scoop on Bush's reaction to Mary Cheney's lesbian baby mama drama. Here's the dramatic response:

I think Mary is going to be a loving soul to her child... And I’m happy for her.

Obviously he's going to say that - he may not want gays to marry, but he's certainly not a monster. He's not going to say, "I think we should drown Mary Cheney and her child to see if they're witches." That's absurd.

As for whether the bouncing bundle will fit into mainstream society, consider this Q&A with White House press secretary Tony Snow:

Q: Does he believe that children who are raised by gay and lesbian parents are at a disadvantage?

Mr. Snow: He does not make comments on that, and nor will I.

Of course not.

I think there are a lot of people who would disagree there, at least in my experience :P

Of course he would never say anything offensive about Mary Cheney, because Dick would bitch slap him while Lynn held his arms.

George and Dick should be proud of their daughter. I'm glad that Daddy George is happy for Mary. I hope Daddy Dick is too.
