Nice Package: Mas Mejor Mojito Set

Hands down our favorite summertime drink is the mojito, with its refreshing combination of mint, rum, lime juice, and sugar cane. But one thing we love more than alcohol is a frivolous little kit. Sure, you could go buy some tall glasses at Pier 1 and use a long stick to crush the mint at the bottom, but wouldn't you rather buy everything you need in a nice, glossy package? We thought so.

Omit the mint, use Cachaxa instead of the white rum and make a caiparina instead. Then get out your bebel Gilberto CD's and samba.

I concur with Dick Greenleaf (about the wonderful caipirinha). If you're "drinking to forget," one caipirinha will do the job--I forgot my middle name after drinking one of them! Delicious, but curiously with the slight aroma of Vicks Vapor Rub.
