(And I am not usually hte so-called Polically Correct Type, hey I'm an out and proud Gay Conservative Republican Christian Dentist!!!!!!!!) Yes Ophra is a fat Strong Black Woman so what's wrong with her panties or what makes you think that Gayle King is fat too! Actually she is quite pretty with nice big bosoms. But have you ever wondered why there's a GAY in GAYle LOL!?!??! Brad - Could you please point out where, exactly, did we say anything about Oprah's weight or race? The item is a funny bit about her past with Gayle King — and was simply quoting what Oprah said on air to the public. Oprah's race (or how much she weighs, for that matter) is of no consequence in this post. If this story was about Martha Stewart and one of her "best pals," we would've treated it the same way.

I just posted this comment on a VIRTUALLY IDENTICAL story (what's up with that, anyway?) on Towleroad.com, so here it is again:

IMHO, public speculation about whether somebody is gay/lesbian/bi or not (even if that somebody is famous) is only justified if they are directly or indirectly involved in the oppression of GLBT people ... or (possibly, vaguely) if they are a sex symbol.

Gayle and Oprah really don't fall into either category, do they?
