This November, voters in Colorado will be able to vote for one of two ballot measures, one that would define marriage as being between a man and a woman in the state constitution, and another that would legalize domestic partnerships that bestow most of the rights and priveleges of marriage on unmarried couples.
Both measures have received more than $500,000 from various sides, most notably "Dr." James Dobson's (pictured at right) Focus on the Family, who is intent on passing the anti-marriage amendment. The interesting thing about the measures is that voters could conceivably vote for both of them, thereby taking Colorado a step forward and a step backward at the same time.
