Oh yeah, almost forgot..."rights" is just a pretty term for politicians to throw around when it's convenient for them. We don't really have any left in this country--just the illusion of rights, while the government continues to take them away one by one.

This is what the GOP does. Get someone from a minority to argue against that minoriy's interest to cause a furor and fractures. Don't vote for him.

I almost spit milk when I read in the interview that 'if he wanted to be married, he'd do girls.' Sadly, that's an all too common sentiment among gay, closeted (and for the most part miserable) gay married people.

Jonathon, like Robin said, you took the words right out of my hands. I am so sick of people thinking they have the right to vote on my rights. Who the heck are they to give or take anything from me. I live in a state that is voting on the marriage issue and I am on pins and needles. I think its a shame that I have to feel this way. This amendment is going to take everything away from me, even the rights that I now have. Shame on this country and its politics.
