My Cuban expat contacts tell me that, in the 60's, Raul was rumored to be of our persuasion. We do know that Fidel's niece (Raul's daughter?) has been speaking out for gay unions and even marriage. Hmmm...

I sincerely hope you didn't mean it was an honor to have met with Fidel Castro. That despot has been violating basic human rights for the better part of a half-century. That's not even mentioning how gays are treated in Cuba. Please tell me you were kidding!
