Rosie Takes On Ellen's "Silent" Sexuality
Rosie O'Donnell's up to her shit-spouting tricks. The soon-to-be former View co-host posted a very special blog video in which she alleges that fellow lesbian chatter box, Ellen Degeneres, signed a contract prohibiting her from discussing her sexuality.
From TMZ:
In her video, Rosie claims Ellen signed a contract that forbids her to mention anything to do with gay issues, adding, "I talk about 'gay' because I like to and she doesn't talk about it because she doesn't want to or she can't."Apparently Rosie didn't see Ellen's interview with TR Knight, because Ellen's sexuality clearly comes up. Hopefully Rosie caught this clip from a recent Ellen episode:TMZ contacted a rep for Telepictures, producers of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, who jokingly said "She's gay? Who knew?" The rep then added that this is completely untrue, and that they have no such contracts with any of their hosts, saying,"Ellen is free to talk about whatever she wants and we encourage her to do so."

ugh .. can o'donnell please just go away and leave us alone ? i'm so sick of her "i'm the arbiter of all things gay" routine. i don't remember voting for her. wasn't SHE the one whose closet door was locked tight while she was entertaining her audience of fat, str8 housewives with tales of her hots for tom cruise ?
but at least now that she's out, she's really out there. I wish she'd move to DC and kick some ass there!
Rosie ROCKS!
Egocentric Rosie is a mess and doesn't speak for most gay/lesbian people. With Ellen, I sit a little taller and admire her ability to present a broad range of guests - including several GLBT-oriented people.
Thank God for this decision. Perhaps values such as inclusion and acceptance can continue to tilt the sefirotic scales from gevurah towards hesed and make the entire Jewish community a stronger, more welcoming place.
I love Rosie - and all that she's got to say.
at least Rosie has the balls to say thing's, if we all did, maybe more thing's would happen in the gay community as far as government is concerned, go Rosie!!!
The difference between a dyke and a lesbian. Lesbians want to be accepted in the mainstream, so like Ellen, they will change their look, their manner, anything to "pass" as a str8 woman. Rosie is a dyke, pure and simple. Dykes don't give a f*** what str8 people think.
I like Ellen just fine, but Rosie kicks ass.
I do not watch the Ellen show. I actually do not watch, I do not like her show. Plain and simple.
As far as lesbian / dyke -- I think rhia is way off. Lesbian is a very generic label and dyke is a word that is either negative, positive or a joke (depending on who you are). To assume that dykes never give a f*** what str8 people think would be that dykes care what lesbians think.
Those who want to be professionals (str8 or gay) do have certain "look". There is nothing wrong with that. Nurses, Drs, and other health staff have an attire. The business look has a clean look and if you are working in a petrol station you wear your jumper.
You are narrow minded see the world as str8 / lesbian and even lesbian / dyke. I am sorry you see the world like that.
