Quick blog search revealed that they're acting together in an upcoming movie about a band. The title of the movie? "What We Do Is Secret."

This smacks of purposeful publicity to me, nothing more.

But Shane is a cutie.

Turns out that the movie also has gay themes to it... and they play "interested"... am I so cynical that I believe the kissing or the tipsters are just publicity ploys.

Neither of those two lads are butch enough, or diva enough to be throwing that much attitude at the camera.

Mandy Moore really seems to be a magnet for the gays, in both her personal and professional.

Also, Shane West "dated" Rachael Leigh Cook who, in turn, "dated" Rider Strong.

Okay what the hell? This Shane West guy is just trashy pretty-gayboy ugliness, waaay to clean-cut and polished, ewwww. This Ashton boy however, is SUPER hot and I love his clothes and his hair and everything in these pictures. Different folks different strokes? Both Shane and Ashton are HOT. I can't BELIEVE, however, that no one has mentioned that Shane West is one of the stars of ER - and he's terrific on the show.

Ashton Holmes played Viggo Mortenesen's son in "A History of Violence". The part is a 'sensitive' teen bullied by the jocks, till he snaps. He also has a platonic female friend in the movie. It's never stated what the character's sexuality is, but the part is ambiguous.

TOTAL PR stunt, or misunderstanding. The two have been friends for a long time, as "What We Do is Secret" was shot a while ago even though it still hasn't come out. It's a rock biopic about The Germs and Shane is playing Darby Crash while Ashton plays the drummer. I'm sure they will be wearing eye-liner in the movie :P

if someone shows me the picture on the website then I will believe you but its not until you show me on this website that I will believe that they are gay and hopefully not.

If shane is not gay. Ashton and him probably decided to go to the thing together as friends and share a car then go to the after party together but think what you want to think but I can trust in what you think but gossip can hurt an actor and actresses reputation not saying that you started it or what caused it but further more that who ever started it really doesn't like Shane or Ashton as actors and what they do for a living, Face it their actors and that gossip is crap in what people or fans want to believe in this world.

OK the movie is about a legendary punk band The Germs. The lead singer, Darby, was gay and the person his was basically going out with's name was Rob. Darby is played by Shane and Rob is played by Ashton. It is not uncommon for friends to go to red carpet events together. Plus, several magazines have recently featured articles about Shane and his girlfiend , a girl named Cece from an indie-rock band in California called Le Rev, and how in love they are. If this so-called kiss occured it was most definetly and publicity stunt.
