Rosie Takes To The High Seas

Rosie O'Donnell Cruise Documentary HBO

America is about to see the way gay families actually live (when trapped on a cruiseship together drinking mocktails and getting tan). But really, as the L Word theme suggests, "this is the way that we live." Being gay and in a family is all about going on vacation, except with kids! Rosie O'Donnell is bringing us All Aboard! Rosie's Family Cruise, which promises to be poignant or horrifying, and we dare not predict which.

The film premieres this Thursday on HBO, and this is less an endorsement than an expression of our curiosity about the project, but if Riding the Bus With My Sister is any evidence, we think Rosie should stick to actual documentaries and steer away from docudramas. If you don't believe us, watch this montage.
