"Village" Copper Arrested For Assault
Allegedly Got Nutty with Knife
Former Village People vocalist Victor Willis has found himself on the wrong-side of the law. The man better known as "the cop" has been arrested for allegedly choking his girlfriend and threatening her with a knife. The charge comes just one month after Willis - a recovering drug addict - got nabbed for a similar charge, NME reports:
Village People member Victor Willis has been arrested in San Diego after an alleged knife attack.Um, we know Willis used to be married to Phylicia Rashad and all, but are we the only ones surprised to hear he has a lady-friend?The woman, reportedly Willis' girlfriend, told police that he had choked her and threatened her with a knife on [March 23].
Police said that he had been out on bail on a similar charge last month

Not sure why, if you're not surprised by someone in a boyband being gay, you'd be surprised by Village People being straight. The group was just a thrown-together theater act.
No, I am not surprise to hear that he has a lady friend but I am glad to know that that lady friend is not Phylicia Rashad. He was doing drugs when they were married and per reports that was the reason for their marital demise.
It is so sad when I hear about domestic violence situations, but I am glad that she had him arrested. I am hearing about so many women known and unknown who are letting this stuff go and that is very dangerous.
