X-Men Teaser: Can They Be 'Cured'?
x-men trailer.jpg

The X-Men 7-minute trailer is posted here, thanks to the glory that is YouTube. The gayest movies ever made without a single gay character, X-Men's stories purposely parallel the plight of all social outcasts, as they struggle to win acceptance in a world where they don't "fit in." Notice the conflicting reactions to the "cure" of the mutant gene, as well as the arguments between mutants who can "pass" and those who can't. Back in their day, these comic books were more empowering for gay kids than any "coming out" instruction manual.

Hopefully in this film Halle Berry figured out how to play Storm a little more convincingly. From the trailer, we're encouraged.
