Hundreds of Sacramento-area students rallied to support four students suspended for wearing anti-gay shirts. One participant said: "It's only going to get worse against Christians. We're going to get persecuted more and more. But those who stand to the end: God is going to save them." Um, right...

Nudie Oil Paintings Have Brains

gibbons.jpg
Bleck, that Massachusett's gay-nup votes just g-r-o-s-s GROSS!! To quell the burning sensation in our tum-tums, let's take a look at the work of E. Gibbons. We have to admit, we weren't too familiar with Gibbons' work until he sent us an email asking us to check out a YouTube slideshow of his work.

Proponents of shameless self-promotion, we headed on over to look at what we expected to be the typical male nudies, thinking, "Great, another art-fag who relies on a little penis and a provocative pose for their so-called 'art'." Well, we stand corrected - Gibbons' work eschews the banality of overtly sexual position, relying instead on sensual sublties. We asked Gibbons to provide a little more context for his work and he sent us back quite a response, which we've pasted after the jump.

If you'd rather live your life in a haze of ignorance and get straight to the meat of the matter, click here for a little afternoon delight. Oh, and if you're a lover of the ladies, never you fear, he's got a "female" version here.

It's Definitely Love

As we ponder whether or not you, our darling readers, love us enough to vote for us, we can't help but hear the JJ Fad echo, "Is It Love?". To show you how much we love you, we've posted the video.

In case you're not familiar, Just Jammin' Fresh and Def were a lady rap trio from the late-80s backed by Dr. Dre and Yella from NWA. While their single "Supersonic" roared its way through the charts and garnered them a Grammy, the rest of their musical musings went largely unnoticed. Unfortunately, the girls (Juana Burns aka MC J.B., Dania Barks aka Baby-D and Michelle Franklin aka Sassy C.) broke up in 1992.

Thanks to the miracles of technology (and You Tube), their videos live on.

Oh, and is it just us, or is that a young Blair Underwood at the end caught spitting game?

Willam from Nip/Tuck ate peanuts--as in, the real peanuts, please get your mind out of the gutter--and had a horrendous allergic reaction. Nothing to do but sit around and heal, he scoped out YouTube for us. Enjoy his recommends. [NoExtraI]

house of venus.jpg• We were obsessed with 8th and Ocean from day one. Michael at DListed is finally coming around, thanks to Vinci. [DListed]

• Will United 93, the movie about the plane which crashed in Pennsylvania on Sept. 11, feature Mark Bingham as gay? Since he was in real life... [QueerBeacon]

Bradford thinks House of Venus is hysterical. Don't blame the rest of us if you don't agree. (Although some of us watch Samantha Brown on the Travel Channel like she is unlocking secrets of the universe. We all have our own tastes.) [YouTube]

YMCA

You Tube really sucks away precious hours of our day. This video, sent to us by a little birdie, (who happens to be considering booking these guys for a major show here in NYC) keeps getting replayed over and over and over and over and over. You'll see why in a second.

Three underage straight kids have made a video to "YMCA." In their words:

"we also make house calls, weddings and birthday parties..who are we were David Stepp, Joe Modzelewski, Thomas harrison......And another thing..we are NOT GAY!!!!!"

Go find a place in your office away from other people, turn down the sound, and repeat viewing over and over.
