This makes no sense when you look at the definition of liberalism: "Not all conservatives are anti-gay, nor are all liberals pro-gay." (OK, so far, so true). "To align conservatism with anti-homosexuality and liberalism with pro-homosexuality... etc." Well, liberalism is all about expanding and progressing social rights to individuals - so yeah, by definition liberals are for gay rights. From Wikipedia: "Social liberals advocate a greater degree of government influence to protect individual rights (in a broad sense), often in the form of anti-discrimination laws." How is aligning this political opinion with gay rights, the same as aligning those same rights with something that is generally considered abhorrent and illegal, like paedophilia? I would like to rebutt a rebuttal!
