PERFORMANCE: An Evening of Classic Lily Tomlin

Months ahead of the actual Folsom Street Fair, come out to hear highly-touted bands such as Bright Light, Bright Light (pictured) and Slow Knights (AKA Del Marquis from Scissor Sisters) perform. June 27 9 p.m.

TV: The Out List Dustin Lance Black, Lady Bunny, former NFL football player Wade Davis, Ellen Degeneres, Cynthia Nixon, Suze Orman, Jake Shears, and Wanda Sykes are among the LGBT notables who share their personal tales of coming out and obstacles they’ve overcome in this powerful documentary. Premieres on HBO June 27.

CONCERT: Not Entirely Wicked

Broadway genius Stephen Schwartz (Pippin, Wicked) will premiere his newest work, “Testimony,” a song developed in collaboration with It Gets Better Project creator Dan Savage, at this weekend’s Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles concert. June 22-23. For more information, go here.
