FESTIVAL: The Off Sunset Festival
Iconic queer rock groups such as Pansy Division and Imperial Teen (pictured above), plus Black Sabbitch, an all-female Black Sabbath tribute band (!) are among the headliners at the inaugural Off Sunset Festival hosted by The Eagle, L.A.’s premiere leather/fetish bar. The world’s leading LGBT film festival kicks off with a certain-to-be stellar opening night presentation of C.O.G., the first screen adaptation of a David Sedaris story, which stars out actor Jonathan Groff (pictured, above), in Los Angeles July 11. Two of Europe’s most vibrant and colorful cities, Madrid and Cologne, host Pride festivals this weekend. Expect hundreds of dazzling floats, dozens of performers and endless eye candy at Madrid’s parade on July 6, while nearly one million people are expected to attent Cologne’s parade on July 7.
