Queerty in the News: 'Homo Hero' Story Makes Front Page of L.A. Times Website

Last week, Queerty named Los Angeles Police Chief William Bratton our "Homo Hero of the Year" for the way he and the Los Angeles Police Department treated Prop. 8 protesters after the election. The L.A. Times picked up on the story (it seems they found out about it via the LAPD's blog) and are featuring it on the front page of their site today. We're happy to find out that even more people will get a chance to learn about Bratton's efforts.

Ok, first…while the article of the family of faggot fans was one of the most unintendely hilarious thing I have ever read…what does that picture has to do with this story? Just made me laugh even harder now.

So now I can congratulate you, it was an interesting piece with a different point of view, the nod from the LA Times is well deserved. Is the reflection of one of many good changes Queerty is making.
