Independent, you're full of shit.

While I don't deny that lots of black voters are voting for Obama, many of those same voters have also voted for exclusively white candidates in the past. Also, it should come as no shock that most black voters have chosen Obama over McCain, since most of us tend to vote Democratic.

If anyone is "racist" it's Obama supporters. Calling McCain's campaign racist ignores the fact that 98% of blacks are voting for Obama. If 98% of any one ethnic group votes for a candidate of there group, it's racism.

Really? Because the last time I checked the people who vote decide things. And it looks like the people who vote, unlike the handful of morons like you, don't give a flying fuck what color someone is. You are trash. Please do yourself a favor and go back to giving bathroom blowjobs while your wife is out.

The election has been decided by african Americans, the media and all non-US citizens.
Lets all march in a straight line and sing the new National anthem:

We’re gonna spread Islamic rule
We’re gonna spread Communism
Obama’s gonna change it
Obama’s gonna lead ‘em

He's gonna change it
And rearrange it
He's gonna change the world.

March on! People of all heroic nationalities!
The great Barack Communist Party leads us in continuing the Long March ,
Millions but with one heart toward a communist tomorrow,
Underdeveloped and unprotected, disregard the USA in a careless fashion.
March on, march on, march on!
We will for generations,
All forcefully expend our last cries.

Raise high chairman Obama's banner, march on!
Raise high chairman Obama's banner, march on!
March on! March on! On!

I'm just tired of race being thrown into the whole...race in general. I'm voting for Obama because I think he + Biden are the best team + I have little to no confidence in McCain/Palin.

I seriously would not vote for Obama if he were as conservative on certain issues as Palin or McCain but, unfortunately, there are those for whom race is a key (or the only) deciding factor in their candidate of choice. Sad but true.

To all of you McInsane/Stalin Queens,

BOTTOM LINE MATCH POINT!

SARAH STALIN is a motherfucking robot who says the same thing from campaign stop to stop and by the way.

And if you want to talk about character and etiquette. At these McInsane/Stalin rallies some of the nastiest things are screamed from the crowd.

Such as "Treason", "Kill him”,” Terrorist",
etc and neither one of them have denounced such statements. I wonder Why?????

When Obama was in Nevada a White Vet got up and ranted off about McCain saying he was not the soldier he was made out to be not honorable and Obama politely told the Man not to say that and that Senator McCain was an honorable veteran.

Goes to show you about character . John McCain has become DESPERATE and is losing steam so look for the RACE CARD very soon. But thankful a lot of Americans is over it.

And to all you who are not on board stay on the McInsane/Stalin front lines we don’t personally give a fuck because supporters like MEN-SAR and Churchill-Y we already know their stand when it comes to us Blacks you can read the many racists post they have on here. All I can say about that is this. Only online because neither one of you don't have the nerve for an in person ranting as such. So it's a BLOW OFF!

Obama supporters stay on focus and watch them go BESERK It's going to be a lovely day!

YES WE CAN AND WE WILL
OBAMA/BIDEN '08

And if you want a person with experience to keep us at war and also BROKE in the pocket book and no economic experience and a woman who has no attributes of a politician only but to be a "Talking points" queen to tell white women I’m like you a soccer Mom and my husband is a union worker. When McCain does not support unions. How many of these soccer moms have have a net worth of 2,500,000.00 no one I know. So if you want folks who keeps America dying.

Then you have McInsane/Stalin 08'

You girls do have choices!

Do Seniors’ Deserve This?

While the cost of living has quadrupled, the group of people most negatively affected group in the society is the seniors, who are on fixed income. And some of us who had managed to invest in stocks and lived on interest income during the boom years in the mid to late 1980s have just witnessed the major evaporation of our life saving. We not only lost the interest income but the principle as well. Surprisingly, it does not appear that the down slope of our standard of living would soon improve. On Sunday, I could not believe listening to statements by Douglas Holtz-Eakin, Sen. McCain's senior policy adviser that if elected, Senator McCain intends to reduce medicare and medicaid spending to offset tax cuts pay for his proposed health plan. He further elaborated by saying that the savings would come from eliminating or reforming payment policies to lower the overall cost of care. He will also increase medicare premiums for the wealthier seniors. The more I think about I get very distressed that the ills of this generation are being pushed to its seniors and future generations. It is not fair.

Seriously tho, here's my question: what was Palin's response to all of this at her rally, and did the taunted media air the unflattering to Palin/McSame footage?

This is a tempest in a two party teapot.

Both parties are infested with racists, homophobes and Wall Street hustlers.

Both parties voted for the $700 billion dollar giveaway and both parties are extinct.

And as you can tell from many of the comments above, they're too stupid to know they’ve been mortally wounded. They still think they’re relevant.

The republicans and racist scum like CHURCHILL-Y will find out November 4ht, and the homophobic Democrats as they inherit an unwinnable war and an economy in deep failure mode.

Paul -

This thread had to end at one point...but let me say this:

You're pathetic.

In your latest post, you refer to me as "Jewish Nazi", say I have a "hard-on for blacks", ignore my repeated (as if it were needed) insistence that any racism is disgusting, avoid the topic of Chuck only when it suits you (you've responded before, chose not to respond when it might admit fault on your own), make assertions with little to no backup (and use the lame excuse that it has to fit into my "strict guidelines" when you in fact offer nothing), provide qualifications to a post that never existed (Andrew did NOT call out certain Americans...you must be more careful with your reading), and refuse to explain a highly offensive, baffling comment of "That's might white of you."

This passes for serious discussion? An attempt to raise the discourse?

You're either willfully ignorant or purposely playing dumb.

You've set the standard, Berdie.

I have the same right here to post as anyone else does. I have an opinion about an piece that was written on Queerty and I chose to voice it. Isn't that what we all strive for? Open and free dialogue? Please tell me if you disagree.

Who's saying you can't post your opinion here? However what you are posting is not opinion, but rather, you're editorializing. If you think you can better present political happenings then contact David and request an interview, or start your own blog.

No one is curtailing your right to post. All I'm doing is challenging some of your foolish ideas, which is what really pisses you off. Just as you refuse to sit back and read what Andrew wrote and move on, I will not read what you wrote and move on.

Even the worst of McCain and Palin's detractors have not accused them of being racists or of "fanning the flames" of racism - save the most far left blogs like the Daily Kos.

And the worst of Obama's detractors have accused him of being anti-American; a terrorist sympathizer; a covert Islamofacist; and have claimed that he smokes crack while getting blow jobs from hustlers.

I'm yet to see anyone in the McCain/Palin camp repudiate those comments and demand that their people refrain from such absurdity.

I would suggest you come up with some serious backup for this argument - not just one instance where they didn't provide immediate notoriety to a racist heckler by responding to him/her.

Oh, I see. I should not only provide you with evidence, but it must conform to your strict guidelines as to what is acceptable evidence.

It's a very serious charge - one that you have not come close to providing evidence for…that the McCain/Palin ticket, as a matter of routine/course/ideology, fan the flames and/or tolerate racism.

It's apparent that anything I post here will not suit your preconceived notion of what evidence would be acceptable.

The post says, "Racism Revealed at McCain/Palin Rallies"….it doesn't say "Racist Hecklers" or anything that suggests the racism cane FROM someone else. It says it was revealed -as if it were a THEME of the event…which it most certainly was not. I am getting tired of explaining this to you.

tr.v. re·vealed, re·veal·ing, re·veals

1. To make known (something concealed or secret): revealed a confidence.
2. To bring to view; show.

Get it yet, sunshine?

"That's might white of you." Mind explaning this offensive remark?

Whatever do you mean, Berdie?

You want to call me dumb - or insinuate that I am - feel free. I would couter that the plaground, name-calling tactics say far more about you than they do about me.

You wrote in your first post here:

Any you wonder why readers of this blog see bias and anti-Americanism?

You accused Andrew of anti-Americanism. The same absurd slur levied at every person left of center, hurled by right wingers. Yet you have the mendacity to bitch and moan because I point out your ignorance?

I will try one more time to explain this: Andrew called America's denizens (inhabitants) "backwards and idiotic."

Andrew called the people using slurs and making threats at the McCain/Palin rallies backwards and idiotic.

I sarcastically noted that this might be a reason why people who read this blog find it anti-American.

You chastised Andrew for calling out the absurdity of certain segments of America, and promptly accused him of anti-Americanism. That was not sarcastic; that was bellicosity at its ugliest. Are you surprised that anyone reading that would take you for a homocon shill?

You called this quote out and said it was a matter of Andrew had the "backbone and integrity" to question the level of political discourse. It might behoove you to question what calling Americans backwards and idiotic itself does to the level of political discourse,

You have yet to admonish the people at those rallies who made threats against a presidential candidate, and used racist slurs towards news people.

Andrew, however, had the backbone to call out the apparent racial bias taking place at those rallies. You defend it.

but it is abundantly clear to me you don't have the intellectual honesty to question someone on your own side or the courage to take an unpopoular position even if it squares with your principles.

When I read something Andrew has written that I disagree with, I'll note it.

Given the context of this, you may have taken a moment to make it clear you do not see any tinge of this in the McCain/Palin ticket, only from a tiny minority of supporters who are bigots.

Who says I don't see racism from McCain? Especially after he says the following:

McCain loved to tell jokes about lesbians, blacks, Hispanics and the Vietnamese community that occupied a large section of Arlington County, Virginia, just south of the District of Columbia.

Of course, McCain didn't use polite language in the jokes: He used names like "fags" or "queers" or "dykes" or "niggers" or "spics" or "wetbacks" or "gooks."

http://tinyurl.com/5fpjyp

You may be "riffing on what (I) wrote" - but you did so in lieu of responding to the substance of the remark.

Your remark had very little substance.

Frankly, I am not surprised or impressed that there's racist sentiment here and there, from a small group of people at any event. It's disgusting but it's real and I am not surprised about it.

So what are you beefing about?

What I am surprised is that a respectable blog like Queerty chose to make it seem that racism was suddenly revealed at a McCain/Palin rally - a headline that implicitly sends the message that it is PART of the rally.

It was. People present at the rallies shouted death threats; made racist slurs and the candidates themselves made derogatory and accusatory claims about a man they know little about. This did not happen outside the rally, or away from the crowd; it happened during the rally within ear shot of Palin and McCain, who did nothing to stop it.

It isn't and it was irresponsible and it falls in line with a very strong bias on this site that I see.

So what? When you travel over to Gay Patriot and chastise Bruce and Dan for being biased towards conservatives, then your argument will matter.

Perhaps you should spend time scrutinizing the source of the issue than attacking the whistleblower.

You didn't exactly inform America that the tobacco industry knowingly sold a dangerous product, Berdie.

I have immense respect for this site and I read it regularly. That does not make it above honest, legitimate, substantive criticism.

No offense to Andrew, but this is Queerty, not News Week.

I have no idea what backs up your claim that I care more about words than people.

You've yet to denounce the racism in the M&P campaign. You seem more incensed about the title of a blog post, than the fact that a black camera operator was told to, "Sit down, boy," by a Palin supporter.

Calling anything racism - or anything a show of support for racism - reduces the seriousness of the charge when it ACTUALLY IS racism.

And you don't see racism in the above remark?

It makes it smaller. I am a Jew who has the same problem with people throwing around "anti-semite." For if the most innocent of people can be deemed anti-semitic - then it lessens its significance when leveled at people who actually ARE anti-semites - like Louis Farrakhan for instance.

I would have chosen the more topical Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, but you seem to have a hard-on for blacks.

I dont' have time to take apart bit by bit on calling conservatives nazis. Suffice it to say that we are not "rounding up" people of different races and throwing them into camps.

We? Does that mean you are a nazi, Berdie? Because it cannot possibly mean that you are a conservative, because you stated that you are not a conservative:

But why should details like that get in the way of a really good jab at conservatives (which I am most certainly not, by the way).

Oh my, a Jewish nazi. How delicious. Almost as delicious as a Jewish conservative posting on a gay blog--wait a minute. Are you even gay? ARE YOU EVEN JEWISH? It's like the Bizarro would, here.

I am in New york -t here are millions of minorities here going about their daily lives. To attempt to - again- cheapen the accusation of Nazi to describe every counter terrorism measure you disagree with - is to a huge disservice to those who actually experienced Nazism.

Ah! Berdie loves him some Gitmo! What is it? The hoods? The male flesh pyramids? The forced sodomy? The torture?

One would think that considering your history--or the history of your people--you would be loudest in condemning prison camps.

Now, before you accuse me of being an enemy sympathizer, I have no love for Islamofacsts and their desire to wipe out everything western and free.

However, when kids are locked up and brutalized, I get a bit annoyed when it is described as counter-terrorism.

My point about Chuck

Again, I'm not interested in debating what Chuck wrote.

Journalism = "writing characterized by a direct presentation of facts or description of events without an attempt at interpretation ".

I think Andrew's cheerleading don't qualify as "Good journalism" or "journalism" at all.

This site is perfectly indicative of the kind of spirit of fear, hatred, and ignorance which is promoted by the current Republican candidates, which I'm sure many party members are put to shame by.
It is particularly corrupt that McCain/Palin would permit it to occur.
Good journalism Andrew!

When the economy goes in the crapper--eh hem, Nazi Germany--the mob will look for a scapegoat...or scapegoats. Now that McPalin has established that if you are not white and straight you are a terrorist and do not like America, their ZEALOUS followers, um, talk about SHEEP, will light the torches and storm to cities.

If Palin had nothing to do with the comments from the crowd, why did she encourage them? Wouldn't any decent person try to distance herself from bigotry and hatred, rather than inciting them?

This just all seems like a tempest in a teapot to me.

Given the polls and the looming election day, it would take an unprecedented 21st century miracle from God for McCan't to win in the electoral college. The Republicans cannot even steal this one its so far gone. Still, they still haven't sunk as low as they're going to, so save some outrage. At the end of the day, the majority have just had enough. Bush/McCan't is out, Obama is in.

God Bless America and its tolerant, inclusive people!

Paul -

1) Yes...how insightful of you to figure out that I was saying racism is part and parcel of a McCain/Palin event! You're either willfully ignorant or purposely playing dumb.

2) I have the same right here to post as anyone else does. I have an opinion about an piece that was written on Queerty and I chose to voice it. Isn't that what we all strive for? Open and free dialogue? Please tell me if you disagree.

3) Even the worst of McCain and Palin's detractors have not accused them of being racists or of "fanning the flames" of racism - save the most far left blogs like the Daily Kos. I would suggest you come up with some serious backup for this argument - not just one instance where they didn't provide immediate notoriety to a racist heckler by responding to him/her. It's a very serious charge - one that you have not come close to providing evidence for...that the McCain/Palin ticket, as a matter of routine/course/ideology, fan the flames and/or tolerate racism.

4) The post says, "Racism Revealed at McCain/Palin Rallies"....it doesn't say "Racist Hecklers" or anything that suggests the racism cane FROM someone else. It says it was revealed -as if it were a THEME of the event...which it most certainly was not. I am getting tired of explaining this to you.

5) "That's might white of you." Mind explaning this offensive remark?

6) You want to call me dumb - or insinuate that I am - feel free. I would couter that the plaground, name-calling tactics say far more about you than they do about me.

7) I will try one more time to explain this: Andrew called America's denizens (inhabitants) "backwards and idiotic." I sarcastically noted that this might be a reason why people who read this blog find it anti-American. You called this quote out and said it was a matter of Andrew had the "backbone and integrity" to question the level of political discourse. It might behoove you to question what calling Americans backwards and idiotic itself does to the level of political discourse, but it is abundantly clear to me you don't have the intellectual honesty to question someone on your own side or the courage to take an unpopoular position even if it squares with your principles.

8) I accept that the following quote may have been about certain Americans, and not about McCain and Palin:

"Holding onto segregationist attitudes is not evidence of a backwards mind?"

For this misunderstanding, I take at least partial responsiblity. Given the context of this, you may have taken a moment to make it clear you do not see any tinge of this in the McCain/Palin ticket, only from a tiny minority of supporters who are bigots. On segregationist attitudes, we can agree. It's worse than backwards - it true bigotry and racism at work. You won't hear anything from me but support if you went after anyone who espoused those views.

9) I have read the blog and its postings. Read #8....

10) You may be "riffing on what (I) wrote" - but you did so in lieu of responding to the substance of the remark.

11) Frankly, I am not surprised or impressed that there's racist sentiment here and there, from a small group of people at any event. It's disgusting but it's real and I am not surprised about it. What I am surprised is that a respectable blog like Queerty chose to make it seem that racism was suddenly revealed at a McCain/Palin rally - a headline that implicitly sends the message that it is PART of the rally. It isn't and it was irresponsible and it falls in line with a very strong bias on this site that I see. Perhaps you should spend time scrutinizing the source of the issue than attacking the whistleblower. I have immense respect for this site and I read it regularly. That does not make it above honest, legitimate, substantive criticism.

12) I have no idea what backs up your claim that I care more about words than people. Frankly, it reads like a copy point...it certainly has nothing to do with anything I have written. Calling anything racism - or anything a show of support for racism - reduces the seriousness of the charge when it ACTUALLY IS racism. It makes it smaller. I am a Jew who has the same problem with people throwing around "anti-semite." For if the most innocent of people can be deemed anti-semitic - then it lessens its significance when leveled at people who actually ARE anti-semites - like Louis Farrakhan for instance.

13)I dont' have time to take apart bit by bit on calling conservatives nazis. Suffice it to say that we are not "rounding up" people of different races and throwing them into camps. I am in New york -t here are millions of minorities here going about their daily lives. To attempt to - again- cheapen the accusation of Nazi to describe every counter terrorism measure you disagree with - is to a huge disservice to those who actually experienced Nazism.

My point about Chuck - which you said you won't address and then immediately do - was that his disgusting comments are anything but courageous. Where you find the link between this and me calling Barack Obama a terrorist is clearly in your own head...it has NOTHING to do with anything I have written and I challenge you to show me one place where I wrote anything even remotely suggesting Barack Obama is a terrorist.

If you have any "backbone" or "integrity" - you'll admit that you can't.

Well one thing you are not, Churchlady, and that is a hypocrite. You talk like a racist piece of garbage, and it is completely consistent with your beliefs that you are racially superior. Now, don't you have a bathroom somewhere to troll for dick before your wife gets home?

There you have it the ultimate hypocrite # No. 50
Wishing the destruction of America while he's high and mighty enjoying the comforts of democracy and prosperity up in Canada.
Why such an individual concerned with "America's fate" is not in the US embracing the thugs he so loves? Instead of living the good life in Vancouver where there are virtually no blacks?
The hypocrisy of an elite cunt, that's the answer.
While we the average American workers are the ones who make this Country run and progress into the great true Democracy it is and continue to seek its prosperity, assholes like Michael flee to Canada to trash a wish the destruction of the US by seeking the election of a man who's associated with a terrorist who has bombed the Pentagon. Figures.
If the stakes were not so high, haters like Michael could almost be considered as comic relief.

There is no doubt that Palin-McCain are biggots and desperate because now they are appealing to the lowest scum of American society, but then thats what they are so why wouldn't they appeal to their family out there?

In the next month, Americas fate will be sealed. Everything about the United States, financially, morally and spiritually is bankrupt. If America choses to continue the path it set forth by electing the Bush regime, within 4 years it will be completely collapsed. But that would be a good thing because a complete destruction would make way for a complete reconstruction. People generally do not change until it becomes to painful to keep going the way they have been. Germany had to be brought to its knees twice before it got it. Japan had to face nuclear holocaust before it realized that it was not going to be allowed to prosper in the evil mode it had chosen. I hope none of this is true, but this period in history has brought forth the truth about the U.S. The greed and unethical practices that its economy has built itself upon. The bigotry and hatred that has been masked, for some at least, by political correctness. Of course Gays never even got that much from mainstream society. We see gay people who post regularly on this sight who are completely lacking in compassion, racists and as hate filled as any right wing religious addict. Its difficult to remain optimistic during this time but we must until the election results are in. If we again elect the same evils that we have had then we all must prepare for a great time of tribulation. I hope we don't have to take that path.

It says racism was "REVEALED" at a McCAin/Palin rally. Since racism itself - and racists themselves - have ALWAYS been revealed - the only thing that COULD be "revealed" is McCain and Palin's propensity for it.

Oh! I'm sorry, Berdie, I misunderstood. What you're saying is, racism is expected at McCain/Palin rallies and you're upset that Andrew was being redundant in reporting that racism was present at McCain and Palin events. So sorry.

So, that's a problem. If it said "Racist Hecklers invade McCain/Palin Rally" or something of the sort - the headline would be a whole lot more accurate in "inform(ing) readers of what the story is about."

Well, as I told, MEN-SAR, start your own blog if you're not happy with Queerty's content.

McCain told us he was a maverick. Palin claimed she was going to change how things are done. Yet here they are ignoring the racism of their followers and fanning that racism further with their taunts and race-baiting. That is quite revealing and the blog post title was apropos.

As far as your obnoxious - and (this should not come as a surprise at this point) false accusation that I did not read past the headline,

You gave every indication that you did not read the post with your demands for clarification in the post title.

...my point was that headlines often communicate to the many readers who don't read past it.

Not yourself, of course.

I, however, as is evidenced by my posts, DID read past it.

That's mighty white of you.

So that's another thing you're wrong about it (but great job squeezing another jab at my "ignorance" in there - even if it's on false premises).

If you don't know who the dumb one is, Berdie...

You made the comment that it was a matter of "backbone and integrity" for Andrew to bless America and "all its backward, idiotic denizens."

What? This is what I wrote:

Andrew, like most libs, loves Americans, but has the backbone and integrity to question some of the foolishnesses he is seeing in American politics today.

I don't think it requires either backbone or integrity to spout call Americans a bunch of idiots. I stand by that comment. You're welcome to think otherwise.

He cares enough about Americans to be upset at where political discourse has gone in American politics.

Since when is McCain or Palin segregationists????

Since when did I state they were?

You stated that M&P had nothing to do with the racist comments at their rallies and in actuality, the racism was the providence of the rally attendees. I pointed out that those attendees having segregationist attitudes make them backwards. Now, you are claiming that I stated that M&P are segregationists?

You see, Paul, this is what gets me. I am not voting for McCain, okay?,

I really don't care.

I might or might not vote for Obama.

Again...

But these irresponsible comments need to be called out. you honestly think if McCain is elected he's goign to break out schools…African-Americans in one school, Caucasians in another?

Where did I write this?

This is absurd…and if you hate McCain, so be it. But you don't need to dive to the gutter to make your point.

If you want to pass over blog postings, fine. But at least have the courtesy to read comments in their entirety before making ridiculous remarks that have nothing to do with what I have written.

Your nodding heads point is useless.

Hey, I'm just riffing on what you wrote.

You believe that Republicans are by and large racist - go ahead.

You're the one who's acting all unimpressed that Andrew reported on racist sentiment at McCain and Palin rallies. I'm socked that such attitudes prevail at the rallies. Shocked!

I think that is scurrilous and reduces the horrific nature of racism and downgrades the charge.

You seem more concerned about words, than people, Berdie.

But, feel free. Either way, it does not at all address my point…making a comment in an uncontested venue of nodding heads is not a demonstration of bravery.

And being contrarian for the sake of contradiction isn't either.

I made the point of calling out "Chuck"...

Again, I'm not discussing Chuck's comment, Berdie.

...because he goes even farther in insulting "conservative nazis."

You're right; he's wrong. Nazis were fascists.

What with rounding up people of differing races and locking them up in camps; invading other countries; spying on their own citizens; accusing leaders of other parties of being enemy sympathizers; blaming the faltering economy on the actions of other countries, rather than government mismanagement; rallying angry groups into frothing, epithet throwing bigots. The Republicans have nothing in common with Nazis.

...if you think it's such a profile in courage to perpetuate the worst steretypes of everyday Americans, perhaps you'd think this was purple-heart worthy. My point remains.

Everyday Americans? Are they anything like the Joe-six-packs I've heard tell of?

I did not make any point about being Obama being a terrorist. So that's another assertion from you that is borne of your hatred of those who think differently than you rather than anything I wrote.

You wrote:

"So smart. So intellectual. So spot-on...But why should details like that get in the way of a really good jab at conservatives (which I am most certainly not, by the way).

And I pointed out that it does not take great mental effort to accuse another of being a terrorist--just like the conservatives you are defending have been doing.

Done, yet, Paul? Or do you want to go another round?

Oh! I’m sorry, Berdie, I misunderstood. What you’re saying is, racism is expected at McCain/Palin rallies and you’re upset that Andrew was being redundant in reporting that racism was present at McCain and Palin events. So sorry.

Palin is welcoming us to the 2008 AIP Convention directly.

Put a fork in her. She's done.

No amount of Republican dirty tricks can save them this time. The Republicans are going to lose in a landslide, and then Obama get's to politically pay the piper.

The Republicans always get ugly in the last few weeks of the campaign and are expert at exploiting racism and homophobia because the Democrats give them so many openings by doing things like injecting racism in their own primaries and by gutting ENDA and similar moves.

It’s a bipartisan thing.

Nothing the Republicans do is any uglier than the blatant racism of the Clintons during the primary or the back stabbing we got from Barney Frank on ENDA to appease bigoted business owners.

Racism can be cured by long sentences to work camps and massive doses of anti-psychotics…

Web Master, if you like Alan Keyes, then what the hell are you doing on a gay website? After all, he's the guy who threw his lesbian daughter out of the house when she came out and has not spoken to her since.

Ha. Palin + her husband were very much affiliated with that anti-American group (her husband even serving as a member for nearly seven years).

Paul -

It says racism was "REVEALED" at a McCAin/Palin rally. Since racism itself - and racists themselves - have ALWAYS been revealed - the only thing that COULD be "revealed" is McCain and Palin's propensity for it. So, that's a problem. If it said "Racist Hecklers invade McCain/Palin Rally" or something of the sort - the headline would be a whole lot more accurate in "inform(ing) readers of what the story is about."

As far as your obnoxious - and (this should not come as a surprise at this point) false accusation that I did not read past the headline, my point was that headlines often communicate to the many readers who don't read past it. I, however, as is evidenced by my posts, DID read past it. So that's another thing you're wrong about it (but great job squeezing another jab at my "ignorance" in there - even if it's on false premises).

You made the comment that it was a matter of "backbone and integrity" for Andrew to bless America and "all its backward, idiotic denizens." I don't think it requires either backbone or integrity to spout call Americans a bunch of idiots. I stand by that comment. You're welcome to think otherwise.

Since when is McCain or Palin segregationists???? You see, Paul, this is what gets me. I am not voting for McCain, okay? I might or might not vote for Obama. But these irresponsible comments need to be called out. you honestly think if McCain is elected he's goign to break out schools...African-Americans in one school, Caucasians in another? This is absurd...and if you hate McCain, so be it. But you don't need to dive to the gutter to make your point.

Your nodding heads point is useless. You believe that Republicans are by and large racist - go ahead. I think that is scurrilous and reduces the horrific nature of racism and downgrades the charge. But, feel free. Either way, it does not at all address my point...making a comment in an uncontested venue of nodding heads is not a demonstration of bravery.

Can we please stop feeding the trolls??? They puke up their spoonfed talking points and the bait gets taken. Just ignore them, leave them to feel the morasses that pass as their minds rotting away. Their intent is to incite and give themselves a forum, reacting to them only allows them to devolve into frenzy. They will end up eating each other alive, and I for one prefer to watch zombies eat each other in the movies, not real life.
