Maybe we’re witnessing the dawn of a new age when people don’t have to labor under stereotypes about being this or that. Maybe we can start to just be who we are, which is probably somewhere between all of the stereotypical labels that we, religions, politicians, and whomever, want to pin on us. At any rate, these boys are hot!

Your use of the word “breeder” is derogatory And should be considered a hate crime. Everytime you call a straight person a name based on they’re sexuality you can forget about being offended by “fag” “homo” “fudge packer” “dyke” etc.

This is equal. This IS a hate crime.

      Your hypocrisy is disgusting.

      You should be ashamed.

Remember this next time you cry a river over someone saying “oh, that’s gay”

Thanks for setting gay rights back a couple decades. Everything the gay community works towards, for equality and judgement free slurs, you just throw around “breeder” and kiss good bye.

@Sandraewong I am sympathetic to your concerns about the use of the word “breeder.” After consulting the entries for “breeder” and “breeders” at Urban Dictionary , I have to concur, this is generally considered a derogatory term.

In my humble and quite possibly wildly incorrect opinion however, I think your use of the terms “hate crime” & “disgusting hypocrisy”, together with the shaming statement constitute a level of near counter-violence that is overkill in this context.

That said, I do commend you for bringing the issue of divisive behavior to light. Tolerance and understanding are good and necessary steps on the path toward peace and social justice. Maintaining a robust sense of humor is good thing as well, as this piece beautifully demonstrates. Indeed, it was this article that inspired me to become a new member here at QUEERTY.

True Confession and Shameless bid for FB Fame and Glory:
I am a hopeless Facebook Friend slut. I invite all (especially you Benji) who read and resonate with my conclusions to find and send me (Matthew Revere) a friend request on Facebook. I will be delighted and honored to include you among my friends there.

Exception for the bright and funny:
I’m convinced it was for comic geniuses that our Founding Fathers created the First Amendment. If you don’t find working for Peace particularly attractive, but are nevertheless one of those rare souls gifted with a proclivity for the offhand funny quip, the ready badinage, banter, or bon mot, the hilarious jest, repartee, or retort, I most humbly and whole-heartedly welcome you into the fold of my FB friends.

And now, blessed friends, I must bid you adieu. Farewell all, have fun, play safe, and remember… http://bit.ly/10MfkhD

      With gratitude,
      P. Matthew Revere
