First scientists announced that redheads would become extinct within a few generations. Now comes word that one of the few ginger stars of the porn world, Blu Kennedy, has announced he’s retiring.
Nooo!
The ginger jock, who has burned up scenes for major studios like Falcon, Lucas Entertainment and Hot House, is walking away from the biz after eight years, claiming, “it’s just time to move on and focus on other things.”
Kennedy does admit his X-rated fare has affected his dating life: “It usually starts out that [guys I date] are aware that I have done porn, and that doesn’t bother them,” he tells Frontiers4Men. But then, over time, they begin to see how people interact with me and treat me, and that I’m constantly getting attention, and eventually they have disdain for anything to do with that part of my life.”

addicts need to get a life and go out and experience sex instead of watching it all
time.
These porn performers are not stars in any way, shape or form. Most of them are
miserable drug addicts who spend all their money supporting their habit.

Yeah, right. No one gives up a lucrative career because it doesn’t sit right with random people they date. Sounds like an excuse. Methinks his manager isn’t finding him enough work lately. I’m sure there’s an element of truth, but more likely it’s the kid thinking he’ll make a star out of himself on XTube that thinks drugs are a career bonus, not a guy like this. Maybe he is a jerk. I’m sure he’s less talented than you, who after all, can type with one hand & beat-off with the other.

It’s a shame to learn that BK is calling it quits. Every performance I’ve seen him in, he appeared to be really into it, which isn’t something I can’t say for a lot of performers. In addition, he seemed to know how to kiss & wasn’t over the top (again, things I can’t say for a lot of performers).

He’s a nice guy… Love to see him in action. I’ll miss him on screen but he’s ready to move on. He’s a very smart guy and I’m sure he’ll end up doing something cool. The life of a porn star means a lot of traveling, being “on” all the time and not having a very predictable home life. Some guys love that and some eventually decide they want a house and a dog and a boyfriend and a Monday-to-Friday job and a 401k plan. Imagine someone turning 30 and deciding that what they wanted at 20 isn’t the same thing.
Even worse, imagine how boring your life would be if you turned 40 and were still following the plan you made for yourself at 18.
He didn’t say his reason for moving on had anything to do with dating… That’s just something he mentioned in looking back At his career.
This industry is a lot of fun but for most it’s not a life’s work (although for me, I guess it is…). It’s kinda sad that gay people seem to thrill so hard in shit-talking porn stars, from accusing them of being drug addicts or “not really working” or calling them stupid. But it’s always the people sitting at home, upset that there are people actually out doing things.

It’s been years since my college genetics class but one rule of Genetics I do recall– the frequency of an allele in a population remains constant throughout time assuming, random mating. In other words, the fact that a gene, such as red hair, is recessive does not mean that it is becoming less frequent or extinct over time. Ginger is not going extinct. Ridiculous.

I support Blu’s CHOICE to leave the industry and I hope his future endeavors thrive and soar! No one ever does a followup on ex porn stars to find out what they are doing later in life. Most are too busy watching the existing flicks and throwing shade, lies, stereotypes and hate around. Just remember, his scenes were hotter than anything most of the haters here will ever experience and all you can do is talk about it and give mediocre sex away while Blu was getting paid while scorching the screen. In truth, doing porn effects his ability to attract a good relationship. They aren’t jealous of the attention. Folks who want a real relationship just want intimacy & to feel like they’re special and lucky. As long as he has profiles talking about “tattoos should stand for something” and showing his hole, he’ll attract sex-based relationships. Blu, put on your clothes, close your sex profiles, move to another town (and not the gay ghetto) and get a regular job. Might not be as popular or flying everywhere to do promotions, but you’ll respect yourself more & you’ll meet someone who respect you.
