Watching “Soldier’s Girl” is the docudrama that got me started fighting for Human Rights in the USA. Take a silent stroll in the cemetaries of Arlington, Virginia and at Normandy, France and look at the never-ending rows of hundred of thousands of white crosses and stars of David and contemplate on how many among these brave and honorable souls were “gays” servicemen, who laid down their lives for their country. Sadly in the USA bigotry and homo-odium are still rampant. The “Don’t Ask – Don’t Tell” law must be rescinded and gay people should be able to be accepted and respected as equals and serve openly in the US Armes Forces.

Soldier’s Girl is the name of the movie, but it happened at Fort Campbell, KY (not Fort Knox).

if you did indeed interview her… such a sad example of professional journalism…do your fucking homework.

IF JJ interviewed her and “thinks” there was a movie based on her life… really sad commentary on the state of “gay journalism”

“Soldier’s Girl” I think is the name of the movie about her and her boyfriend. He was in the military and was murdered in a hate crime by his fellow soldiers at Ft. Knox.
