Religion, Babies Help Fuel Gay Nup Decisions

Here’s a story that will rile the right!

A study out of the University of Illinois indicates that religious and child-having homos are more likely to tie the knot. Family studies professor Ramona Faith Oswald remarked:

Opponents of relationship recognition for same-sex couples often say that we have to protect children, or that same-sex relationships are against God. But this study suggests that lesbians and gay men who seek relationship recognition may be acting to protect their children and enact their own religious beliefs.

Social conservatives will no doubt use this as evidence of some gay plan to usurp organized religion and erect some evil alternative.
