Rep. Eric Massa Will Resign Over Male Harassment Allegations

With Rep. Eric Massa, the New York Democrat, opting to not run for re-election, his troubles must be over, yes? No: The House ethics committee, in an unusual step, confirmed it’s investigating the congressman, who insists he’s leaving office for health reasons, not the allegations that he used “salty language” (his words) towards his staff. Meanwhile, Speaker Nancy Pelosi insists she’s unaware of any such allegations. LOLz.

UPDATE: He’s resigning — after working so damn hard to get elected in 2008.

This is the worst kind of scandal. Not even a funny line from it like “wide stance” Sen Larry Craig’s.

We here applaud your statements, deplore the threats from the oBOWma administration, wish you legal recourse and regret your decision to resign.

Even though we are predominately Republican here in Utah, we feel for you.
If there’s some way me and my computer can help in the event you choose to fight as opposed to resign, you have my e-mail address.
