The letter Sec. Gates and Adm. Mullen sent to House Armed Services Committee Chairman Rep. Ike Skelton telling Congress not to repeal DADT until the Pentagon has finished its review? It came after Skelton, who is on the record as opposing repeal, wrote them a two-sentence letter asking for Gates’ view.

Not going to comment on DADT, but on the blogging integrity of the poster. How can you actually call Representative(You read that right) Ike Skelton a Senator after saying he’s the Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee? :/

This is NOT news Queerty, I read Skelton’s letter the same day the Gates letter was made public. And how exactly did he make Gates say the things he did? Skelton may be an enemy of repeal but he didn’t somehow force Gates to agree.
