Clueless: Who would have guessed that would have been a self fulfilling prophecy associate with Stacy. And she’ll do good in CLUELESS part 2 3 and 4. No acting required…
Black don’t crack! Still pretty, but oh well.
@Nowuvedoneit: i can see why you’d say that…she looks pre-op.
it’s hilarious how every article refers to her as “the clueless star”.
She sounds VERY unintelligent, to say the least.
This is one, dumb heffa.
God Dammit! I hate when stars who I liked when I was younger turn out to be idiots in real life. It’s really unfortunate for her that she was in Clueless, since it’s fodder for the tabloids now. At least she wasn’t in “Jawbreaker”. That could have gotten uncomfortable.
She’s an idiot though, either way. Fucking Republicans who get all “outraged” when they are associated with their own party. Republicans are known globally as the backwards conservative US party. Own it Stacy or break ties with them.
luv her even more as a correspondent
She’s 47???? Holy crap. Her boyfriend…meh.
Anyway, maybe the anti-equal marriage Republicans are the most vocal. Maybe the Republicans who are pro-equal marriage remain silent for fear of the negative impacts on their position within the party and with their constituents.
Um… “insanely hot” boyfriend?
Anyway, this is disappointing, she was such a cool character in that movie and wasn’t there a gay guy in it? Wonder what made her become Republican in the first place.
She is such an idiot, but do admit she looks great for 47.
That Texas heat must have affected her brain! :>)
Actually, for 2014 and 2016 we gays should consider looking beyond a “party” and look to the individuals of a party. For instance, here in New England we have two gay Republicans running for congressional seats(MA. and NH). I would vote the Republican candidate, not only because he supports gay marriage, but because he believes in smaller, less invasive government(sans NSA); fiscal responsibility; adherence to our Constitution; secure American borders; free markets, and personal responsibility. And I shouldn’t vote for a person of character and integrity like this because he’s Republican? I would agree that we need a new mainstream party outside of Democrats and Republicans.
@manjoguy: I’m not gonna go into all the reasons you stated you’d vote republican. Some I’m cool with others, sorry are laughable (nsa…yeah the repubs had nothing to do with that….) some I just disagree on. The thing is…is that no where have repubs gotten rid of a platform that doesn’t restrict gays. I find there to be something i can’t bring myself to trust when a “gay” or gay friendly republican still supports that kind of platform and endorses other repubs who are not inclusive at all but are in fact, damaging to the LGBT community.
There are a lot of Repubs who are more socially liberal and fiscally conserv. Then there are the libertarians who, while I disagree with them on many things, tend to look at things with a bit less crazy and a lil more ideal. Problem is people are never gonna get to that level of self control…it’s all too Ayn Rand. Plus they get pushed down and mistaken for TP’ers (Tp’ers often think they are libertarians…but so few can even read or spell constitution)There has to be a place for people who are willing to cross party lines…no not cross lines work to erase the lines and realize that all the parties bring some good ideas and that if we opened our closed, This vs That, minds we’d get something done.
I do, however, agree that America needs another strong party. I’m more of a moderate liberal with more fiscally conservative leanings. Fuck it we just need a party that has a bit of common sense and can bridge widening gap between the two we already have…Yes I know there’s a green party but come on…come on!
Hey, if she can convince the rest of ‘em to agree, I’d be fine with the republicans.
Bless her heart, first week on the job and she couldn’t remember the four cardinal rules of the fox propaganda network: Everything Obama does is bad, Hillary Clinton is bad, everything is a scandal and marriage is between a man and a woman. Can foresee her lasting very long at her new gig.
As a side note, keep in mind if you vote for a Republican candidate for a federal position they will be towing the party line one they hit Washington DC. Considering their national platform includes that whole pesky little belief of “marriage is between a man and a woman” I don’t think I’ll be risking it
She isn’t unintelligent, she is a liar. It’s the same way that John MCain or some other politician will say “I never said that” only to have a Youtube video of him saying “that” dug up and posted.
The GOP thinks that just by saying something it makes it true. She knows they aren’t for marriage and is just lying about it.
Not to pooh-pooh anyone’s ideas, but the Republicans I have been speaking with lately have been making more of a stance for marriage equality. Call it the evolution that keeps being talked about, but I think it is slowly working. Now, don’t get me wrong – there are plenty of Robertson’s, and Hagee’s, and Graham’s, and others seeking to demonize us and prevent full equality. But I think it’s wise to try to keep in mind that those that speak the loudest are usually the smallest minority.
The problem is, what is happening is that the party is not listening to any of those people and those people are tending to break away and become independents.
I have several friends that left because it wasn’t a simple policy disagreement, the party was actively seeking to harm gays and since they had friends and family who were gay they felt they had to leave.
The consequence being it is harder for the GOP to win national elections because it has shrunk somewhat, but the people that remain are far more conservative as a whole than the party used to be and less likely to change.
@Cam: You aren’t wrong. There is a shift in the party. It once was once of working toward freedom to now one that is overrun with religious zealots and those seeking change by force. It’s sad, in a way. Not the party of Lincoln, anymore, that’s for sure.
The Tea Party pushed me from a moderate to a more leftist person. I still attempt to maintain some balance of all view points, but it’s getting harder and harder to look up either party in the way I once did. It’s like pulling the curtain back and seeing behind the scenes. It ruins the fantasy.
It’s true, a lot more LGBT’s were GOP or independents years ago when both parties couldn’t be bothered with us. The GOP’s worst moment is when they started using that phrase “RINO” (Republican In Name Only). They now seem to have a purity test and ANY disagreement means a person is a RINO and should be kicked out of the party. IF they keep it up they are going to turn themselves into a small, regional party and get replaced when independents and other GOPers who are open minded as well as some conservative Dems decide to form a new party. IT’s happened before.
Presidents come and go, laws change, but SCOTUS justices are lifetime appointees! No thanks. Keep Scalia, Alito, Thomas, Roberts and any future religious nutballs to yourself! Citizens United and gutting the Voter Rights Act were an affront to the Democrats and an effort to sway the tide for another few years. Dream on, Republicans, NOM-sters, and Tedious Right. You will not be forgiven for many years to come. Go have lunch with Romney, if you can stomach looking at that creep for an entire meal. Be sure to save a doggy bag for the dog locked in the crate on the hood of his car. Oh, and generously tip the Latino valet parking attendant who’s likely looking at your lunch-mate’s orange, spray-on tan sideways. You all are so gross and disgusting. Faux Noise deserves what 47 year old excreta clings to the hull of their ship. Bug off.
