Rev. James St. George And His Gay-Loving Church Won’t Be Returning To Chestnut Hill College

The Rev. James St. George says he’s “glad it’s over.” He’s referring to his ouster from Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia, where he’s spent the past two years — until he was pushed out this semester for, supposedly, being gay and not belonging to the Roman Catholic Church, but the the Old Catholic Apostolic Church, which believes in letting priests be gay and get married. “I’m going back to my ministry and to take care of my parish” at St. Miriam Catholic Apostolic Church of Blue Bell, he says, having reached an undisclosed settlement agreement with Chestnut Hill. “There are no hard feelings on my part,” he adds. “We all own our own stuff and can move forward and not hate each other.” How very Christian of you.
