Revelations.

Pushing Daisies scribe Bryan Fuller reveals which of the ABC show’s character is gay. But, queerly, doesn’t mention that the show’s main actor, Lee Pace, likes boys, too. Meanwhile, journo James Hillis likes Fuller: “…He’s totally adorable. Like clean puppies and chocolate birthday cake adorable. Noon on your favorite beach in June with a fistful of nostalgia-laden boardwalk cuisine adorable.” Precious. [AfterElton]

I checked Wikipedia for Bryan Fuller. his work gets two paragraphs, almost. under personal life it states “Fuller is openly gay” (apparently he is so busy his personal life is reduced to wearing a t-shirt that says “I like boys”) but I am also offended. it is the equivalent of describing Jennifer Hudson’s personal life as “she has black skin”

Um, is Lee Pace on record as being out??? I’ve never seen that in print. What’s your source?

I wish there was more confirmation on Pace’s sexuality. I mean, with Anderson Cooper, we have heaps of “information” (mostly people seeing him at gay gyms). What evidence do we have for Lee Pace? The fact that he played a transgendered woman?

I don’t care what Lee Pace’s sexual orientation is – he is gorgeous and is a great actor.

When you think about it, isn’t his whole character on Pushing Daisies a metaphor for the restrictions of being closeted – unable to touch that which you desire the most.

Who but a gay man would act out sexual frustration by baking pies? Jeez Louise.

Lee likes boys too? It would explain a lot (including the fact Pushing Daisies was written “for him”). What’s your source though?
