Rhode Island Cop Marcus Huffman Scores 40 Years In Prison For Raping Drunk Lesbian

Marcus Huffman, the disgusting ex-Rhode Island police officer who raped a lesbian woman and then led the investigation into her rape, will serve at least 40 years, and perhaps 60, in prison for being a scumbag.

“His greatest regret was getting caught,” said Superior Court Judge Netti C. Vogel this week, effectively rolling her eyes at Huffman’s tear-filled apology.

In 1994, Huffman rolled up to Providence’s Platforms Dance Club, where the victim — drunk and high from partying before with friends — was refused entry. But after her friends went inside and left her behind, Huffman told her to get into his cruiser. Then he took her to a police substation and raped her. She stumbled home, clothes in hand, after waking up in a bathroom. The police were called.

Huffman showed up as lead investigator.

NB: The year after the rape took place, he was “indicted on six counts of first- and second-degree child molestation for allegedly having sexual relations with a 10-year-old girl when he was 16 and 17. Five months later then-Superior Court Judge Maureen McKenna Goldberg threw out those charges because she found no evidence of coercion, and Huffman attended church, had a good family life and had not been in trouble with the police. On that same day, Huffman was summoned to another Superior Court to face charges that he had demanded a sex act from a prostitute. That case also was dismissed. In 1998, he was found guilty of three misdemeanor assault charges stemming from a fracas at the Registry of Motor Vehicles that began when a custodian tried to stop Huffman from letting his wife into the building just after it closed. Earlier that year, Huffman was suspended without pay for two days for failing to show up at a brutality hearing on a complaint that he beat a 14-year-old boy with a billy club.”

Enjoy prison, ya shitbag.
