“The fact that a guy like Donald Trump, candidate for president of the United States for the Republican Party, has the guts to continue harassing ‘free’ to the Latino community makes my blood boil.
At what point this character assumes that can make racist, absurd comments and especially incoherent and ignorant about us Latinos?
From the outset his intention was clear: basically say atrocities and lies to remain relevant in the public eye, by votes or just to stay in the media radar.
Yesterday’s episode of journalist Jorge Ramos, one of the most beloved and respected by the media in the Latin world, reaches the point of enough is enough.
Jorge Ramos was doing his job as a journalist at a press conference at which he appeared in a free and democratic manner, representing one of the chains of Latino television largest in the world and with the same right to free exercise of the profession are all journalists.
But this new character of American politics as verbally assaulted and ejected from the press.
No wonder this action Trump, what does surprise me is that Hispanics continue to accept the attacks and accusations of individuals as he attacked our dignity.
BASTA gentlemen!
If we are united we must be, for some things for others. We have already shown to the United States who are Latinos and this behavior we can not afford.
We have to defeat that power which seeks to show Trump about Latinos, anchored in a low xenophobic rhetoric and speech that his campaign appears convinced that it works.
We demonstrate that our Latin race is respected and not let an aspiring politician sow his campaign insult and humiliation. Demos to respect those first generations of Latinos who came to America and paved the way for us. Every right that we have today what we fought.
Xenophobia as a political strategy is the lowest to what you can get in search of power. This is an issue that unites us and touches us fight together, not only for us today but for the evolution of humanity and those who come in the future.

Ricky Martin Has Had Enough Of Donald Trump’s Harassment Of Latin People
Ricky Martin is as exhausted by Donald Trump as the rest of us, only he’s not going to just sit back and wait for him to self-destruct. After Trump had Latin journalist Jorge Ramos ejected from a press conference Wednesday, the superstar entertainer decided to make public his grievance with the Republican presidential frontrunner by writing a blistering op-ed published by Univision (translation by Google).
La Ricky writes:
Help make sure LGBTQ+ stories are being told...
We can't rely on mainstream media to tell our stories. That's why we don't lock Queerty articles behind a paywall. Will you support our mission with a contribution today?

Did he snap?
Clark35
Meh, it’s not like he’s Mexican or an immigrant.
onthemark
@Clark35: Trump thinks we should build a wall around Puerto Rico and make the Puerto Ricans pay for it.
Roch Lester
Not the most accurate translation, but the message is pretty clear and the intention is good. Thanks for sharing Queerty.
Spike
Repubs can’t win back the White House without the Hispanic vote. The Dump Trump has effectively lost the election for him and the longer he pretends to be a candidate the harder it will be for Jebby to bounce back from the damage trump will to do him and the party before he is the eventual nominee. Koch brother will never allow trump to be the nominee.
Clark35
@onthemark: Doesn’t he realize that people from PR are American Citizens? TBH I do not pay attention to Trump at all.
onthemark
@Clark35: I’m not sure Trump DOES realize that. (And btw, I was making a joke.) But I would absolutely bet Scott Walker doesn’t realize that!
Kangol
Good to see a Latino celebrity is speaking out about the Donald Trump disaster. Trump’s treatment of Jorge Ramos the other day was yet another example of his utter disrespect for and towards Latinos. But then Trump has also made r@cist comments about black people, he’s a notorious sexist, he’s against same-sex marriage, etc. Typical Republican. And now he has David Duke’s public endorsement. Pretty horrible.
Notoriously anti-gay Jeb Bush is trying to get as deep in the sewer with his comments about “Asian people.” And the rest of this GOP gang either go along, adopt these crazy ideas, or just remain silent. They really are the worst.
chaddyboy6
Latins, I think you mean illegals. Another person consciously evading the issue.
Altay Ozer
Oh please! Im going to register next year just so I can vote for Trump!!!
Christopher Durbin
I love that he’s speaking out.
(The translation is horrible)
Captain Obvious
So tired of people falling for this obvious distraction. Most of these idiots don’t even know who’s running beyond Trump and Hilary. America is screwed.
Once upon a time people were smart enough to know to ignore stupid people and now everyone puts all of their focus on them. Wouldn’t be surprised if Hilary paid this tool to distract everyone because he’s ensured her win. Friggin Americans.

Hey Ricky, you a few months too late. this blew over a long time ago. a lightweight like you couldn’t possibly damage Trump now.
jwtraveler
I’m glad to see that it’s a Google translation. I’ve heard Ricky Martin talk. His English is a lot better than that. Of course, I can understand how difficult it is for Univision or Google or Queerty to find someone in this country who could translate Spanish to English accurately.

Let him have it Ricky! Enough of his bull.
Alistair Wiseman
Really Queerty? Your going to run a story that makes Ricky Martin look half illiterate? Have you not heard of not running a story until it is ready? No wonder none of you put your name on this piece.
Jorge Ramos is called a journalist. He is not, he is an actist that engages in advocacy. It is quite clear when Mr. Trump took to the podium that he did not call on Mr. Ramos, but another journalist. Mr. Ramos continued to speak, but not asking questions of the candidate but to loudly lecture Mr. Trump on what he cannot do. After Ramos was removed from the conference, less than 20 minutes later he returned and was able to ask Trump multiple questions.
Some will say the optics did not bode well for Mr. Trump. However, it showed a man in control unlike when Black Lives Matter recently over ran both Bernie Sanders and Martin O’Malley as they were speaking.
Kangol
@chaddyboy6: Stop, please. “Latins” is not the same as “Latinos,” and the vast majority of Latinos in this country are American citizens or documented residents. Maybe you know that and are being willfully ignorant, but either way, throwing out “illegals” is offensive.
I do hope Ricky Martin realizes, though, that there is no “Latin race.” Latinos can be of any race, and often are a mixture of several; “Latin” encompasses all the descendants of the Romans who speak Romance languages, which includes the French, the Italians, the Spanish and Porguese of course, and Romanians, as well as others like Catalans, etc.
I don’t think Donald Trump or anyone else gives a flying fish about the undocumented Romanians who’re living in Chicago, or undocumented Italian immigrants like Joe Giudice, who should be deported from the US for his felony convictions. And wonder why? Because they’re white.

Im glad that my fellow Boricua Ricky spoke up about this. Jorge Ramos is like the Walter Cronkite of journalism for Latinos. Donald Trump is delusional if he thinks he is going to be POTUS. You can’t win a national election without Latino support and he won’t have it. He can verbalizing all this craziness because he’s speaking to an angry, mostly White part of the Republican base who think that they are “losing their country” . Donald Trump’s number with Latinos are so far under water that even if he somehow gets the nomination it’s gonna be easy pickings for whomever the Democratic nominee will be. Donald is -51 net negative in terms of favor ability with Latinos. So keep talking to your crazy base, which shrinks more and more each election cycle and see how far you get buddy. Props to Ricky for speaking out about it.
stanhope
@onthemark: the credit card would be declined.
stanhope
Who would listen to Ricky Martin on the subject of politics? Really? Jorge Ramos was an asshole no matter what one thinks of Trump. All he succeeded in doing was giving Trump another victory and himself looking like a shrill out of control barbarian.

This is sad to say, I have spoken with too many people who confuse illegal immigrant or legal immigrant with hispanic & latin, I of course explain that not only were anglos not the first people in North American and the US, Spanish, French and English all were colonizing this country at the same time, I believe Spain before England, A large part of the US was part of Mexico, California and Texas in particular later were their own countries with large hispanic populations and when those states joined the union all those people their got U.S Citizenship. So they have always been a part of this country just as much as the white anglo people and perhaps . Also the mestizo ethnicity is like 70% of Mexico which happened because European settlers married natives of the America’s and that created the mestizo ethnicity. So citizenship does not define race, ethnicity, There are white mexicans citizens, And white hispanics. You can be white and not caucasian. Granted we need a good working immigration system that is fair and reasonable.

I was think somewhere on the same lines there are plenty of illegal immigrants of all races from all countries, We just need a smart, fair and reasonable immigration system. A good number of other countries have that. I will say of all the hispanic immigrants I have known they are good honest hard working people, They often start their own business and do great in the free market economy, Sad to say that some people resent that, Normally the same ones lecturing the left about the free market.

I never knew that Ricky Martin is semi-illiterate.

@stanhope: I agree: Jorge Ramos appeared very ignorant.

Donald Trump is so right on ILLEGAL immigration. For people to try and make it an attack on Latinos is disgusting.
Thank Goodness all Latinos are not as dumb as Ricky Martin.
Giancarlo85
@Alistair Wiseman: Oh look it is the Alistair asshole. First off, it is a translation. Second you don’t even know how to make a coherent argument.
Your insults of Ramos are comical. What is an “actist” (SIC!!!!!!)? You are the real illiterate idiot. You need to be reeducated. Your hatred of people different than you is well noted.
Donald Trump is a big fucking idiot who is sinking the Republican party. Clowns like you will defend every Republican with stupid moronic arguments.
So yes, right wingers please keep insulting us. You will be crushed in the next election by a landslide again.
Giancarlo85
@money718: How is he right, you dumb illiterate? Name me one of his plans. Trump is all fucking hot air and no substance, much like you.
@James Hart: The only ignorant ones are right wing illiterate phonies like you.
You morons… You think you have it all figured out. Keep it up and don’t cry like a bitch when Republicans get stomped un 2016.
money718
@Giancarlo85: Ramos was out of line. Why can’t people be honest about that?
Donald Trump is far from an idiot. As far as a landslide, don’t be certain about that. His populist pitch appeals to working class blacks, whites and legal Latinos.
money718
@Giancarlo85: How is right. Illegal immigration is a huge problem. My favorite quote from Donald: “Either we have a country or we don’t.” Do illegal immigrants want the US to turn into the countries they left?
Blackceo
@money718:
LMAO….the delusion. Black people and Latinos are not voting for Donald Trump in the numbers he will need to be competitive IF he wins the nomination. You have no empirical evidence saying his pitch is working with working class Blacks and even documented Latinos so please stop with the foolishness.

Hey Ricky!, it’s not just Latino. It’s ILLEGAL persons. Bitch at that if you are a naturalized American. Use your name, money, and influence towards a positive; teach the difference he’s preaching.

It is only NOW that it became illegal to be an immigrant. Wrongly so.

America was made by LEGAL immigrants, not illegal.

Who cares what Ricky Martin says..
I am sorry but Jorge Ramos was out of line, there is a protocol for reporters at press conferences and he clearly broke that. That being said he was allowed access back in and Trump did answer his question.
I am not on the Trump bandwagon however I am tired of people from other countries voicing their opinions and stirring the pot on illigal immigration in America. Unfortunately it’s a subject that our country need to address, so get use to it.
That being said try to illegally immigrate to Spain or Puerto Rico two of the 3 countries Mr. Martin holds citizenship in and see how that works out for you ?
When he’s ready to drop his triple citizenship status and become a full fledged American then he can complain about our political system and candidates.
Francis Duran
Its true about everything Donald Trump is saying ! Its not fair to us paying for all these illegals.

Ricky Martin is an A-hole! Who cares what he has to say about anything.

@money718: You’re the one out of fucking line! Just like every other right winger! You know what the big problem in this countrY? PEople like Donald Trump and Carly Fiorina. These people destroy jobs… Carly Fiorina destroyed 40,000 jobs alone.
YOu are DEMENTED. Donald Trump doesn’t stand a shot in hell in winning black and Latinos. His message isn’t populist. It’s pure bullshit. You don’t know what you’re talking about.
@calabrazy55: Stupid fucking right winger. Go back to where you came from. Calacrazy? Yes, you’re CRAZY.
@money718: You are foolish. And you don’t know anything about blacks or Latinos. And now Donald TRump has insulted Asians. You know who Donald Trump attracts? Crazy white fringe idiots like you, Dwbyers, Alistair Wiseass and other right wing trolls.
Anybody who thinks Donald Trump will somehow attract Latino voters by alienating them is a moron with no clue about politics or this country.
Yes where are all the editors on here? You need to start banning these right wing fringe idiots. This is a PROGRESSIVE website. Not a regressive braindead website.
Abrocks05
Who the fuck translated this shit? Google translate? This just looks incredibly stupid, if you people want the public to read this trash, u guys better make sure to get better ways of translating this, or else u make the artists look like ignorant idiots who don’t know what they are talking about.
Giancarlo85
@Jim DelRae: Another right wing loser! He wasn’t out of line… he was trying to ask some tough questions of that clown with the fake hair piece. Donald Trump is out of line. He is always out of line.
All these right wing shitbags have come out of the wood work to criticize Ramos who was rightful in his questioning. I am sorry but republicans are not protected from tough questions.
@calabrazy55: Coming from someone who has made several grammatical mistakes, you’re being a HYPOCRITE yourself.
Giancarlo85
Who the fuck invited all these right wing xenophobic shitbags on this website? THIS IS A PROGRESSIVE WEBSITE. If you want to voice your minority fringe bullshit go somewhere else (like newsmax).
Trump and his alienating comments won’t win shit in the end.
Giancarlo85
@Alistair Wiseman: Tell that to the undocumented Chinese immigrants that made the expansion of the railroads possible (which allowed for an unprecedented economic boom). People like you are grossly ignorant of history.

@money718: Illegal immigrants haven’t done 1/10 the harm to this country that rich, white bankers, stockbrokers, mortgage lenders, insurance executives, retailers and Republican politicians have in the past decade.
I live in a mostly Mexican and Latino neighborhood. It’s safe, quiet and friendly. I assume some of my neighbors are here illegally. What I see is a lot of decent, hard-working people who are committed to their families and ensuring that their children have better lives than they had, not unlike my Russian Jewish grandparents who immigrated a century ago.
Scapegoating immigrants is a centuries-old tactic used by people in power to distract ignorant citizens from the injustices committed against them by the greedy, corrupt and powerful.
If any corporate executive is concerned with the lack of jobs for average working people in the U.S., he’s free to bring back all the jobs he’s outsourced to India, China, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Indonesia, etc. But I doubt they’d be willing to take a cut in their 7-figure salaries.

Thanks Ricky Martin for standing up for the Latin community!

That google translation is abhorrent. The actual Op-Ed, has been up and widely available for hours.
“The fact that an individual like Donald Trump, a candidate for the presidency of the United States for the Republican party, has the audacity to continue to gratuitously harass the Latin community makes my blood boil.
When did this character assume he could make comments that are r@cist, absurd, and above all incoherent and ignorant about us Latinos?
From the beginning his intention was transparent: basically tell barbarities and lies to remain relevant in the public opinion, for votes or simply to stay on the media’s radar.
Yesterday’s episode against journalist Jorge Ramos, one of the most beloved and respected Latinos in world media, has gotten to the point of enough is enough.
Jorge Ramos was doing HIS JOB as a journalist at a press conference in which he appeared freely and democratically, representing one of the most important Latin television networks in the world and with the same right to freely exercise his profession as all other journalists.
But this new character in American politics verbally attacks him and ejects him from the press conference.
This action from Trump doesn’t surprise me, what does surprise me is that as Hispanics we continue to accept the aggressions and accusations of people like him who attack our dignity.
Enough is enough!
If we are united for some things we should be united for others. We have already shown the United States who we are and we cannot allow this behavior.
We have to defeat the power that Trump pretends to have over Latinos, anchored in low rhetoric and xenophobic speech, which his campaign team is convinced works for him.
Let’s show that our Latin race is to be respected, let’s not allow a political hopeful to plant his campaign in insult and humiliation. Let’s demand respect for those first generations of Latinos who came to the United States and opened a path for us. We have fought for every right that we have today.
Xenophobia as a political strategy is the lowest you can go in search of political power.
This is an issue that unites us and we need to battle it together, not just for us but for the evolution of humanity and those to come.”
Giancarlo85
@calabrazy55: You’re an ignorant moron! That is all you are. A complete and total loser who just decided to show up out of the blue. You are right wing. Anyone who espouses the ignorant bullshit, as you have done, is politically right wing.
Who the heck are all these trolls and who invited them in? They are spouting off the same insanity! I don’t have time for right wing politics. Anyone politically right wing is no better than a fascist. Donald Trump isn’t appealing to anyone except the far right in this country.
@McShane: Thanks for posting that. Queerty has faltered greatly in quality in recent time.
Giancarlo85
@jwtraveler: These same tools scapegoating and attacking immigrants today were the same ones who did it to the Irish, to the Italians, to the Chinese… the majority of which came here with little to no documentation.
People don’t know what the Chinese did for this country… it’s a rather sad underreported part of this nation’s history and one that everyone should learn.
http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/americanexperience/features/general-article/tcrr-cprr/
PBS ran a fantastic piece on the often abused, insulted and degraded Chinese immigrants who came here… many of whom were smuggled in.
http://www.asianweek.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/chinese-railroad-workers.jpg
All the hatred we see towards Latinos is just the same as we seen towards other groups in this country. And let me remind people those who were here originally were sent to substandard shit pieces of land called “reservations”.
So we see this anti-immigration shit talk from people whose ancestors came here and stole land from the real Natives.
bjoh249
@Giancarlo85: Who were the real natives? You do know that human life originated in the middle east right?
bjoh249
@McShane: I am curious as to who attacked your dignity. No one is against hispanics, we are against illegal immigration. Please stop confusing the two.
bjoh249
@Giancarlo85: Do you have any proof that they didn’t have their documentation? Many also came here legally as guest workers.
McShane
@bjoh249:
WhhhAAAAAAAA? No, that’s Ricky Martins actual quote, not mine. What Queerty posted, at the top of the page, was translated from Spanish to English using Google translate. Poorly, translated. I just copied and pasted what he actually said, from another site. Sorry about the confusion.
Keven Ouellette
im not latin, but i am completely behind mr. martin 100 percent, his words are inspiring.
Giancarlo85
@bjoh249: Moronic response! The people who were here before living in this land for thousands of years. The ones who first step foot here.
@bjoh249: You are all about moronic responses aren’t you? You are definitely against hispanics and all immigrants. Donald Trump is now insulting Asians.
http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/donald-trump-mocks-asians-broken-english-speech-article-1.2338344
You’re just an angry stupid white man like he is.
@bjoh249: You don’t know anything about the history of this country. That is definitely not true. Did you simply not go to the link I provided? Most were smuggled into this country so companies didn’t have to pay any sort of taxes and could underpay them.
You are beyond stupid! Where are all these braindead right wingers coming from anyways?
Giancarlo85
Immigrants are often brought into this country undocumented and companies get away with paying them far lower wages under the table. No benefits or anything. This is what the stupid angry white man mentality ignores. The facts are on the wall.
Trump effectively fucked up the republican party’s chances at the election by insulting entire groups of people. Is he going to make a rape comment soon? That is republican tradition… insult women by making a stupid rape comment.
money718
@jwtraveler: If you just look at your little neighborhood, then of course you don’t see the problem. I’ve met plenty of nice illegals. That’s not the issue. The issue is the sheer number that are coming into this country.
Giancarlo85
@money718: Oh give me a fucking break. Immigration hasn’t soared in recent years at all. You seem to suffer from paranoid delusions like most on the right wing who try to blame undocumented people for all the issues this country faces. Why don’t you look at wall street for a change or the republican party? Both of which have successfully fucked up this country.
money718
@Giancarlo85: Your anger is shocking. I wonder if it were black Africans entering this country illegally in the sheer numbers that Mexicans are, would you feel the same way.
Giancarlo85
@money718: I’m angry so many idiots are giving Donald Trump attention. In what sheer numbers? You just pull shit out of your ass. Immigration isn’t soaring.

@Giancarlo85: I’m not a right-winger at all. I just see the BS on both sides.
Giancarlo85
@money718: Oh that’s interesting… can you detect your own BS then? SO far, every post you’ve made has been complete bullshit based on ignorance of the facts.
money718
@Giancarlo85: You need to re-read some of your non-sense. And why so angry? Are you undocumented? Geez…
Giancarlo85
@money718: I post evidence and facts. What a idiot… he won’t even read the sources I post which support my point.
I am a US Citizen. Now you’re going after my background? Typical angry white man mentality. You need to start using your little mind.

The delusion. I swear. It’s hilarious. The Republican Party is getting exactly what they deserve in Donald Trump. Ever since President Obama was elected they have spent the entire time questioning his legitimacy as President, from the birthers to those who say he is a Kenyan Manchurian hell bent on destroying America, and basically viewing him as an “other” They were sure he’d be a one term President and it blew up in their faces. So this wing of the party that Trump is speaking to is very much liking what he’s saying. Problem is that the Republican Party has leaned so far right that it just is not going to work in a general election.
That’s why these BS voter restriction laws have been put in place; because the electoral college and demographics of this country are changing out of favor for a party that relies on white voters; a demo that shrinks with each passing election cycle. I’m part of Voto Latino and have Maria Teresa Kumar on speed dial. We are constantly talking about the numbers in states regarding Latino voting patterns and where things stand right now not only just by state numbers, but breaking it down by congressional district. If Donald Trump and his supporters think he is going to win the Latino vote if he is the nominee, I can’t tell you how delusional you are. But keep the fairy tale going.
money718
@Giancarlo85: Well, it is the middle of the day… I’m WORKING. I’m not looking at your silly links, when I can provide the opposite.
So you don’t think illegal immigration is a problem? Not at all?
Kieran
This is the equivalent of calling someone who is critical of Israeli policies towards Palestinians an “anti-semite”. It is an intellectually lazy device, designed to shut down all argument and debate on a particular issue.
onthemark
Now that Canada Cruz is gaining a little traction with the nutbag Christians against Trump, I’m looking forward to Trump attacking Cruz for being ineligible to run for prez. His birth certificate doesn’t even say U.S. on it. Cruz says, oh well, my mom was born in the U.S. Why was this a big deal with Obama (whose mom was born in Kansas) but not with Cruz? Trump should be consistent! (Bwa ha ha.)
Giancarlo85
@money718: You can’t look up shit because you’re not capable of reading anything. There is NOTHING silly about what I posted. The opposite? What are you? A moron? These are official tallies. You can’t provide the opposite, because what I post is fact.
YOu’re just another lazy right wing fanatic. Seriously fuck off. We have enough of this fungus on this website.
@Kieran: Considering you’re always intellectually lazy, I don’t think you have much going on. Maybe you should reconsider who you support politically. Donald Trump doesn’t want an argument or debate on any issue… he simply kicks people out of the room or shuts them down. Fucking hypocrite.

@Giancarlo85:
Jesus, why are you so angry? Don’t you think that people would be willing to listen if you weren’t screaming and cussing? What was up with that guy that asked you if Giancarlo was Italian, and then disagreed with you. You seriously lost it on that guy. How was he supposed to know that you’re from Colombia? It was a harmless question. It would be like if I randomly asked you if you’ve ever been to a Carlos Santana concert, and then disagreed with you. Your going to flip out about both things either way.
Listen, I know that we don’t like each other. You know it and I know it. Don’t you think that people would respect your opinions, and take you seriously, without all the anger and swearing and insults. I mean, just last week you, once again, made fun of my profile picture and said that I looked like well known child molester. And I wasn’t even talking to you. You just seem like a bully, and if you dropped the attitude I bet that people would be willing to forgive you.
L David Wolfe
Trump is not against Latinos. ….unless they’re. ….illegal. come legally and you’re more than welcome
Giancarlo85
@McShane: I don’t care for right wing shitbags. I really don’t. I will treat them as the scum they are. That guy was a pure idiot and yes I lost it for good reason. Somebody need to smack that idiot down. I’ve said it time and time again that I’m from Colombia. And it wasn’t just that comment… he made some oddball remark about World War II that made absolutely no sense at all.
You are not in a position to question me anyways. You’ve flipped out yourself. You are a classic case of a hypocrite. Yeah, you look like Jared Fogle. Any relation there?
I don’t need forgiveness from anyone with right wing views. Those people aren’t deserving of any form of respect.
Aires the Ram
@Giancarlo85:
You say so much, but you know so little. Case in point; You call me a ‘right-winger’, when I am a registered Democrat, you say I “think” I know what a dictionary is, when indeed, I spent many hours in my teens and early 20’s reading Webster’s dictionary page by page. Your “agenda” is quite obvious. Funny, didn’t see in your comment any kind of comment or disagreement against what the words “illegal”, “criminal”, or “lawbreaker” meant. You so conveniently didn’t mention the dictionary definitions of those words did you? Nor how those three words relate directly to the conversation at hand……..
Like my Grandmother always said: “An empty drum makes the most noise”
Giancarlo85
And that guy didn’t ask me if I was Italian. He assumed to know everything and made some moronic remark about WWII and guns. Such a stupid statement to make.
McShane
@Giancarlo85:
I didn’t say that he said you were Italian. He asked if Giancarlo was Italian. Like was it an Italian surname.
By the way you’re the only person that I’ve ever argued with on this site. Sure I’ve said terrible things about JasonSmeds, we all have. But he and I have never argued. So just to be clear, you have no problem making fun of a strangers appearance? That doesn’t make you feel like a bully?
Alistair Wiseman
@McShane:
Pay no attention to the perpetually angry little man. We have come to realize that he was frightened by basic human decency and good manners as a small child.
It is the first time I have looked at your picture; I think you are quite handsome.
OrchidIslander
@bjoh249: ” You do know that human life originated in the middle east right?”
Not so fast. The origins of human life are not as cut and dry as your statement might lead one to believe. It seems a majority of anthropologists, archeologists and evolution scientists assign to the theory that human life originated in Africa. Those scientists that attribute our origins to the Middle East are decidedly less in number than those who subscribe to the African model.
Eric Jimenez
Ricky Martin, then speak out more..
Giancarlo85
@McShane: Giancarlo is actually a name used in Latin America. I even know one Venezuelan football player with that name (Giancarlo Maldonado).
@Aires the Ram: You’re nothing more than a troll who is trying to masquerade as a democrat. We’ve all seen this. You try to criticize democrats heavily (and ignore the major faults of republicans). You posted three words in an attempt to tie them all together. Listen to me shithead, there were people brought into this country when they were children. This is the country they know and grew up in. You are calling them criminals and lawbreakers. This is what I have a problem with. You are an empty windbag that is full of shit and please don’t try to take that line “but I’m a democrat…” uh huh.
@Alistair Wiseman: You have severe mental delusions and paranoia. You also ran away when I started posting evidence proving my argument.
Hal-James Pederson
come on Ricky we really need you to serious, and get very public with this. NEED.
Tony Chaplinski

With Hitler it was the Jews, with Trump it is the Latins.
OrchidIslander
@Don Michael: “With Hitler it was the Jews, with Trump it is the Latins.”
That comment is considerably more than a mere exaggeration, don’t you think?
Alistair Wiseman
@Don Michael:
“With Hitler it was the Jews, with Trump it is the Latins.”
What a morally bankrupt comment to make. I think you know better.
bjoh249
The open border people, like Martin and that prick Jorge Ramos, just use race as an excuse to not have to fully admit that they support open borders and the breaking of the law. When that don’t work they start bringing up the indians, which no one alive today had anything to do with. I am done arguing. Facts are facts no matter what. I may not be able to stop this madness, but I am sure not going down with a fight. I know going down that the truth, reality, and the LAW is on my side. That is all that really matters in the end. I am no fan of Trump either. He has knowingly hired illegals for many of his projects. He is a big phony. Bye bye
bjoh249
@Blackceo: You have to show an ID for everything else. Why not voting? You Democrats just don’t like voter ID laws because they keep illegal voters from voting which helps your party.
P.S. the Republican party has moved to the far right and the Democrat party has moved to the far left as well(Bernie Sanders). Neither is good for this country, which is why it is going under. A good government in a democracy like our’s is one that meets in the middle.
bjoh249
@Blackceo: It is also quite sad that these demographic changes is due in large part to illegal immigration. It isn’t going to get better. This country is on its way down the tubes thanks to all of this nonsense.
John Malin
Good for you Ricky GET A BUNCH OF FRIENDS TOGETHER AND YELL IT FROM THE ROOF TOPS!
McShane
@Giancarlo85:
That’s a fantastic bit of information. Truly remarkable. Except for the fact that Mr. Maldonado, doesn’t have squat to do with what I asked you.
I’m not sure that you’re feeling what I’m putting down.
Jim DelRae
Who cares what Ricky Martin says..
I am sorry but Jorge Ramos was out of line, there is a protocol for reporters at press conferences and he clearly broke that. That being said he was allowed access back in and Trump did answer his question.
I am not on the Trump bandwagon however I am tired of people from other countries voicing their opinions and stirring the pot on illigal immigration in America. Unfortunately it’s a subject that our country needs to address, so get use to it.
That being said try to illegally immigrate to Spain or Puerto Rico two of the 3 countries Mr. Martin holds citizenship in and see how that works out for you ?
When he’s ready to drop his triple citizenship status and become a full fledged American then he can complain about our political system and candidates.
Sameer Nurani
You tell them Ricky!
Giancarlo85
@Alistair Wiseman: You are a morally and intellectually bankrupt person, so you should watch who you fling accusations at. The republican party is a moral and intellectually bankrupt political party that will stop at nothing to hurt people and sell this country out.
@bjoh249: Oh thanks for that idiotic reply. This country is going down the tubes… is it really? IF republicans and their rich white Wall Street backers had their way, it would crumble. The last time a republican held the White House, we nearly went into an economic depression. Maybe you should reconsider your statements.
@McShane: Does it honestly look like I give two shits about what you’re asking?
@Jim DelRae: Out of line for asking simple direct questions? He didn’t break any protocol. You are not a reporter and you don’t know anything. And yes, it is apparent you are on the Trump bandwagon.
I’ve already stated it for the right peanut gallery on here. Immigration to this country is down as a whole. Even with the strong economic recovery under the Obama administration, immigration isn’t going up. It’s still declining. And you’re tired of people from other countries voicing their opinion? I wasn’t born in America… so what should I do? Just shut up? A subject? How will you address it? With stupid right wing reactionary policies? Not going to work.
You can’t even spell. Immigration to Spain has declined because of their very high unemployment. Puerto Rico… well I think US citizens can go there as they please. Oh, and he has a right to voice his opinions in this country. That right isn’t reserved to right wing dipshits like you.
Giancarlo85
@bjoh249: Moronic answer! Republicans are throwing people off voter rolls and want to make it harder for people to vote. The voter ID laws require that people show additional forms of ID, often beyond a state driving license. That’s raising more impediments to voting.
Undocumented people do not vote in elections. They have to be listed. You just used a stupid BS excuse. What republicans are doing is removing tens of thousands of US CITIZENS from voting and reducing the number of locations to vote at in Urban areas. Look at what happened in Miami in the last couple of elections.
“P.S. the Republican party has moved to the far right and the Democrat party has moved to the far left as well(Bernie Sanders). Neither is good for this country, which is why it is going under. A good government in a democracy like our’s is one that meets in the middle.”
Wrong. The Republican party is indeed far right (and has been since the Reagan years). The Democratic Party is a right of center. This is a fact. Bernie Sanders at best is a moderate. And what does it mean “to meet in the middle”? To accept your viewpoints? Your viewpoints so far have been right wing, so you might want to get a reality check.
Alistair Wiseman
@Giancarlo85:
I see you have your MSDNC talking points down. Rachel would be so proud. Unfortunately, it does not have much to do with the truth as evidenced by the link below.
http://freebeacon.com/issues/election-group-141-u-s-counties-have-more-registered-voters-than-people/
You state, “The voter ID laws require that people show additional forms of ID, often beyond a state driving license.”
Which states are those? Which states do not accept showing only a state issued drivers license?

@Giancarlo85:
You stated. “Even with the strong economic recovery under the Obama administration….”
Wow! I guess a record number people out of the work force, poverty at record levels, astronomical number of people on food stamps and the worst economic recovery in 80 years, as long as the president has a “D” at the end of his name, facts and an abysmal record do not matter.

@Alistair Wiseman: Uh, nooooo huntee. I think you’re forgetting millions of enslaved people and their descendents. They were brought by force. You may consider that legal but abduction, forced labor at penalty of recapture and death, brutal conditions, no pay, etc., shouldn’t qualify as legal ANYWHERE.
Giancarlo85
@Alistair Wiseman: You suffer from mental delusion and your sources are all trash. CNSNEWS? Washingtontimes? I mean Moonie Times… you can’t be serious. These are all garbage sources.
“I guess a record number people out of the work force, poverty at record levels, astronomical number of people on food stamps and the worst economic recovery in 80 years, as long as the president has a “D” at the end of his name, facts and an abysmal record do not matter. ‘
WRong on all counts. There isn’t a record number people out of the work force. Many people are retiring though. The baby boomers are retiring because they are reaching that age. Poverty is down, not up. And there aren’t more people on food stamps. You keep lying though and peddling the bullshit you always peddle with all the shit sources you can dig up on the website. Facts? You have none in your argument.
Here is a real source you guillible idiot:
http://www.salon.com/2015/08/17/the_gops_apocalyptic_obama_fantasies_why_cruz_walkers_economic_fear_mongering_makes_literally_zero_sense/
Funny how federal spending, including spending on welfare, has been cut not increased. But Alistair lives in fantasy land and continues to peddle all the republican lies.
The Washington Times source is the biggest pile of bullshit.
Giancarlo85
@Alistair Wiseman: Another garbage source peddled by right wing crap. you have anything else to share idiot? Other than distorting the facts?
Alistair Wiseman
@Giancarlo85:
Your rebuttal with its use of facts, graphs and well founded sources is so convincing and impressive. 🙂
Of course, the liberal rag salon.com notwithstanding (as your “real source”.)
You are wrong about federal spending and welfare spending hits record levels after 50 years of the War on Poverty.
You still didn’t answer my question…you asserted that “voter ID laws require that people show additional forms of ID, often beyond a state drivers license.”
I asked you what states are making such a requirement. Which states are not accepting only a state issued drivers license?
glennk
I am not a fan of Ricky Martin so it was with nauseating feeling that I read his viewpoint. I am not a supporter of Trump, but I think Ricky Martin comes across as arrogant and sarcastic touting the Hispanic agenda.
Giancarlo85
@Alistair Wiseman: I have posted an article that shows exact figures and statistics. Your sources contain nothing of the sort. You cite garbage websites (like Moonie Times and right wing fringe blogs).
I am absolutely correct on federal spending and welfare spending. Federal spending has declined significantly under the Obama adminstration (this is a fact). Maybe if we were to cut the F-35 program, it would decline even further!
Many republican states are making that a requirement and they are pulling people off voter rolls. They are also making claims that some may have fraudulent driving licenses and refuses them the right to vote. You are an idiot and you have not posted a single answer with any logic.
Salon, by the way, is better than any of the stupid shit you posted.
Giancarlo85
@glennk: I think you come off as an dishonest fool. What the fuck is the “Hispanic agenda”? Is it the same as the “gay agenda”? You right wing gays are all the same… full of shit!

Im from Macedonia…Ricky is all well said, I and my country we always against all who do not like migrants and latin people … Americans we’re tired of you over the head to us, where you set foot in the world only to us war and misery brought … not even TRUMP be presiding ..
John
Ricky stick to doing what you do best…entertain us. While I am no fan of Trump I am tired of entertainers (singers/actors etc) trying to act as if they are so enlightened and know more than the average voter. Sarandon, Streisand, Martin, Nugent etc just have your opinions and keep them to yourself. A few years ago I left a Streisand concert after she started her political crap, I didn’t pay to hear her 2 cents I paid to be entertained.
@Capt. Obvious you are probably correct that Trump is being used as a distraction from Camp Cu*t to let someoneas unqualified as her sneek in the backdoor to the WH. She has had lots of titles but truly no accomplishments unless you count carpet bagging a NYSenate seat. To which she accomplished nothing.
Alistair Wiseman
@Giancarlo85:

@Alistair Wiseman: More right wing trash websites. You don’t know anything about reality you hysterical nutcase. You cite the Blaze? Are you really this stupid in person? These websites have no concept of the debt or the economy. Get better websites actually by facts, not by delusions brought along by mental paranoia.
@John: Hate to break this to you but they have a right to voice their opinion just as much as anyone else. And your weak attack on Hillary just shows how much of a delusional drone you are. Hillary is highly qualified to be President… Far more than any of the other idiots in the republican party. I get it though… You don’t like anyone expressing their viewpoints because it offends you. Sorry but that isn’t how freedom of speech works.
