When it comes to hooking up, Ricky Martin says he’s fairly open-minded.
The 44-year-old Puerto Rican hitmaker recently sat down with Mexican magazine Fama! to talk about his bedroom shenanigans. And he drops a major bombshell: He likes the hole and the pole.

“I know that I like both men and women,” Martin confessed. “I’m against sexual labels, we are simply human beings with emotional and sexual needs.”

Though he identifies as gay, Martin said he’s not totally opposed to the idea of having sexual intercourse with a member of the opposite sex.
“I am gay,” he said, “Men fascinate me. But I like to enjoy sex in total freedom, so I’m open to having sex with a woman if I feel desire.”
(Note the careful caveat at the end there.)
When asked if he’d ever date a woman, Martin, who has remained tight-lipped about his love life since breaking up with his boyfriend of three years, Carlos Gonzalez Abella, in January 2014, said no.
“Men are my thing,” he said.

@enlightenone: Actually, his tour and his album are doing well, and it’s because of this straight pandering behavior. If you watch his latest music videos like “La Mordidita,” he’ll include gay female interaction, but he won’t touch a man at all. He always pretends to be asexual or straight on stage and videos. Besides, we already know he’s had sex with women like that blonde Mexican journalist Rebecca Alba who he dated before coming out and was shocked when he did. Having sex with a woman doesn’t mean you’re genuinely attracted to them.

He hasn’t released English music in over a decade, but he’s an active Spanish-language artist with a successful album and tour right now. Why do you think he was interviewed? As I said above, he’s known for “straight pandering” behavior. Google “La Mordidita” and his other latest videos and you’ll see a asexual/straight image. It’s not about attention. It’s maintaining an image so pander to an audience and the 200 million views on that video alone says he’s doing something right. As for “romantic orientation,” if you actually read the full quotes, Ricky specifically said he’s NOT interested in relationships with women. He just said he’s open to have sex with a woman. Why? Because he knows it’ll make him look better in the eyes of his audience.

Why doesn’t he just come out as bisexual since that’s what he is? No guy I know that’s actually gay, and who is out as gay wants to have sex with a woman even if some of them did have sex with a woman when they were younger. They told me how sex with a woman just showed them how they’re gay men, and not sexually attracted to women at all.

Remember that identifying as gay is a choice. I know several men who identify as gay but are in reality are also attracted to women. The reason they choose to identify as gay is:
a) they feel more comfortable in social settings when they choose to identify as gay.
b) women have forced them into the “false gay” category due to a woman’s fear of men who can swing both ways.
