Rihanna apparently lives in the studio as the Bajan sensation is getting ready to deliver her seventh studio album in as many years. The first single, “Diamonds,” mines familiar territory — think yellow stones shining in the light with the newfound discovery of love.
As everything the popstar touches turns to gold, and occasionally platinum, sounds like RiRi’s got another hit on her hands. Could this be her 12th number 1 hit? Take a listen and decide for yourself.
And you can buy yourself some “Diamonds” here.

Errr….sounds suspiciously auto-tuned. I wonder what song-generating iPhone app is she using to churn these music at such an epic-ly precipitous rate.

The problem with her ballads is that it sounds good recorded, but when it’s time for her to deliver it live, she fails and sounds like a cat on bath salts.

@Niall: cat on bath salts?

@Niall: I’m a fan of her and I think you’re right. I saw the videos of her iHeartRadio performance and the crowd was just dead silent through out the whole thing. more like, Energy at the start with only girl and then that energy disappeared surprisingly.
My suggestion: she would’ve been better sticking with songs like Only Girl and Where have you been.
as for this song: that “Shine Bright like a diamond” will get on my nerves. other than that, the song is good and has a great meaning. But what made me love her is not in this song
