Robbie Rogers Is Not-So-Secretly A Fashion Designer, Blogger And Occasional Model

Openly gay soccer star, dog-lover and beloved Instagrammer Robbie Rogers was bitten by the fashion bug ages ago — like so many gay men —  as he recently revealed in an interview with BELLOmag. Rogers started the shorts, trousers and pants line Halsey a few years ago with some friends and backers, which he models in the August issue of the fashion mag.

After his temporary retirement from soccer, Rogers said he “worked his ass off” to get into a menswear design course at the London College of Fashion. Though he ultimately returned to soccer, Rogers maintains that he’s “very serious” about fashion and spends his free time working on the blog Rogers & Becker with his stylish stylist pal Warren Becker.

There, they drool over David Beckham, throw some sartorial shade at other athletes and have a kiki over the style in Tom Ford’s A Single Man. Meanwhile, if Robbie’s auditioning for a position as a fashion correspondent for Queerty, he’s effing hired.

Check out some designs from Rogers’ Halsey line as modeled by Robbie and others below.
