Rosie Confirms 'The Price'
But Is It Right?

Rosie O'Donnell's confirmed Bob Barker's confirmation of a rumor that she's meeting The Price is Right producers.

The former The View host has posted a message on her blog. Or, rather, a not-so-poetic exchange with a fan. Via Huffington Post:

Victoria writes:
Backstage, when asked who could fill his shoes as host of Price Is Right, Barker floated Rosie O'Donnell as a possible successor. "I believe they're going to have a meeting with Rosie"
R u going to?

yes
this week

The lesbian gabster's name's been floated as a replacement for Barker, who retired earlier this month, but some say the demanding O'Donnell had big plans for the long-running show - plans producers weren't willing to implement. Barker also suggested at the Daytime Emmy Awards that 'The Price' producers have only interviewed men for the revered position.

So, can producers and Rosie get it right? We'll find out, right after this word from our sponsor…

Rosie would make a great Price is Right host, especially with "Rosie's Beauties" to show off the merchandise. Who will be the new Rod Roddy though? How about Andy Dick?

I actually think that she would be a good replacement. She would be able to keep the energy of the show up.

What an awful idea. It would be about Rosie, Rosie, Rosie, not about the game or the prizes. Far from making it more cheesy and fun, it would become burdened with her own celebrity. I like Rosie, but give her a talk show again.
