      This sort of thing always amazes me. I went to high school in a county in Illinois with the highest rate of registered Republicans in the state, with a huge “born-again” and evangelical Christian population, and with a city-sponsored “Day of Prayer” event. We still had gay kids going to the prom together.

      And the city hasn’t been hit by a hurricane, flood or (more likely) tornado yet. Hmmm…
