Rue McClanahan Will Miss Her Own Look-Alike Contest

The bad news: Rue McClanahan has been hospitalized with a cardiac illness. The worse news: She's had to cancel her Nov. 14 tribute show at San Francisco's Castro Theater. Sorry, no "Thank You For Being a Friend" sing-a-long this time around. She says in a statement: "My darlings, I'm just devastated that I am going to have to miss my own tribute at the Castro Theatre. Unfortunately, my doctor has laid down the law, and I'm currently having some maintenance on the old ticker. Trust me, I'd much rather be in San Francisco having fun and being adored by all of you."

I couldn't take losing three Golden Girls in an 18 month span. Rue has already been in remission from breast cancer for 13 years.

Yeah, sorry but Bea Arthur's passing was way sadder than MJ's. I'm not ready to lose another G-Girl!
