Russia Declares U.S. Will Collapse by Next Year, Evidenced By all Those Gays and Prisoners

igor-panarin

INTERNATIONAL CREATIONS — Have you heard the United Sates will collapse on itself by 2010? That we’ll dissolve into just six territorial states by 2011? That President Obama will install martial law by Christmas? And that the proof all these doomsdays are coming is that we’re a nation full of gay guys?

Noted Russian scholar — a term we’ll use loosely — Igor Panarin, the dean at the Foreign Ministry’s school for future diplomats and a talking head on Russia’s state television networks, had predicted all of this. And given that he’s backed by the Kremlin, the Russian government (that means President Dmitry Medvedev and Prime Minister Vladimir Putin) apparently also see things this way.

Spinning his yarn during a lecture to students, diplomats, and fellow teachers yesterday, Panarin (an ex-KGB analyst) is famous for comparing the U.S. to the Nazis, with the source material for his “statements of fact” being unnamed magazines and newspapers.

But unilke Rush Limbaugh, Panarin says he doesn’t wish for America to collapse, but it’s on its way — thanks to the moral decline brought on by Americans “great psychological stress [that] is evident from school shootings, the size of the prison population and the number of gay men,” reports the AP.

“I was there recently and things are far from good,” he told his audience. “What’s happened is the collapse of the American dream.”

There was a T.V. show like this a couple of years ago. JERICHO. It started with a nuclear attack, but economy collapse would work too. I think the gay population would probably survive and prosper as well as any other, maybe better.

well this theory is not new, based on the collapse on previous civilizations (romans etc), i would like to ask these experts though why canada – or any other tolerant country – hasn’t collapsed yet, where gayz (married and with adopted children) are well integrated in the society.

@buttmunch: Their theories are not based in logic, therefore none of them can stand up to logical scrutiny. This, however, has never been an impediment for bigots making bigoted, illogical, stupid arguments.

@buttmunch: lol…my ears are burning. Could you be referring to my family among the 100′s of other families with children and 1000′s of married couples?

You could say our country has collapsed…we have a Conservative government. You know it was all because of the gays. ;)

Ummm…the United States is in bad shape economically, but we have a solid infrastructure in place that will help us pull out.

Russia on the other hand is fucked.

The upside is that maybe the West will see a decline in obnoxious, loud Russian bitches decked out in leopard prints and gaudy jewelry with their slimey sugar daddies occupying our nightclubs and pricey restaurants.

This man is trying to distract his people from the fact that his own country is slowly collapsing from corruption, and financial ruin. yawn…also..he has been predicting this for decades…moving the goal post much?

We aren’t at Doomsday, yet…but you can see it from here

      link to references here: http://tinyurl.com/cmzt92

The ‘bibliography’ is ten pages long…and growing.

Panarin may have gotten a few details wrong…

For example, barring military invasion, which was an implied threat in Panarin’s paper, Alaska will more likely come under Japanese, Chinese and Canadian economic ‘influence’ as well as Russian. Of course, that begs the question: Why would an expert in InfoOps, geo-politics and world geography get such a detail “wrong?” Because he’s stupid? A fool? …or because he was trying to accomplish something that the eyes of the West would overlook and dismiss?

…but he still has a pretty good point. …if you do a bit of research, you’ll figure out what that point is.

Besides, most of the people ‘reporting’ on this story have never actually seen his paper, let alone read it. Otherwise, they wouldn’t be saying what they’re saying.

As for his statement that Russia isn’t going to collapse right along with us? What’d ya expect him to say? Putin signs his paychecks. heh. (China’s has worse problems thaneither the US or Russia. Don’t let the MSM fool ya.)

Ours is collapsing much more quickly. Then again, we don’t have mobsters running our economy, we have asshats in suits.

      Would mobsters be preferable?

I bet the rest of the world would call us “mobsters” i.e. Iraq. I think it would be safe to say civilizations fall from either natural catastrophes or poor and possibly intended bad management i.e. The Bush Family . . .

Due to Bush and the healing packages it may take to field his mistakes, we could soon find ourselves more than 4 trillion in debt.

Anything else for the reason of a nation falling is pure unbased conjecture.

I have yet to see or read about a nation dissolving due to civil rights evolution.

I think Igor may just want to go ask Frankenstien for his job back, cuz he don’t make no sense in the real world.

@Tim in SF: um..as far as i know the election here last november threw out a majority of the mobsters and a$$hats. I really don’t see the US having anywhere near the problems the USSR had when it collapsed. We wont collapse until some country offers a viable alternative to out currency, to many other nations have their eggs in our basket for that to happen (i didnt mean that to sound as dirty as my mind made it). again…this man is moving the goal posts.

LOL I love it when a third world country like russia that has ideas above it’s station (ie considers itself part of Europe yet only has oil and gas to sell) and one which is immersed in savagery (its president and Prime Minister ordering the assassination of journalists who investigate and criticise them) and cruel & barbarous military campaigns (like in chechnya) sees virtue and morality in terms of muscles and a warped christian idea of morality. And sees being nice and gay as being weak!

Oh, yes, how very christian in other words!

Maybe Russia’s fundamentalist “Baptists” and Orthodoxy can pray their asses out of financial ruin? I somehow doubt God will intervene on Putin’s behalf, but maybe we should be praying that Russia doesn’t completely lose their shit since they’re sitting on enough nuclear missles to blow the world to smithereens.

Well if the trend toward recognition of gay partnerships through marriage or CUs in the northeast is any indication, I know I’m not moving after the breakup, LOL.

Since Prop 8 is being heard tomorrow in CA, below I have posted a description (from wiki) of the future of a broken up US as imagined by Robert Heinlein in “Friday” (1982). It’s more of a liberal flip around than Prop 8, but the point is clear.

The California Confederacy – Includes the former American states of California, Oregon, and Washington. Its form of government is a democracy taken to its illogical extreme. Instead of having a fixed constitution, all law in California seems to be subject to change by a majority plebiscite vote. The tendency of voters is to pass laws that encourage “democracy” and “equality” on a superficial level. For example, when it was noted that Californians with college degrees earned more than those with high school diplomas alone, the California voters passed a law granting all citizens a bachelor’s degree upon graduation from high school. Law is all important in California though ‘The Law’ is all too fluid given Californians’ litigious and democratic nature.

I was referring to the mobsters and asshats in suits on Wall Street, not the ones in DC. The ones on Wall Street who run our economy. The people in DC set policy, but I don’t think they are considered by most as “running” the economy. Sorry for not being more clear.

Meh Russia loves to hate the US – if the US collapsed Russia would enter a state of depression for an extended period of time, possible do some redecorating and go out drinking a lot. Granted in this metaphor I’m not really sure which member of the couple is not an abusive alcoholic… but then again I’m pleasantly buzzed – fortunately or not still fairly coherent

There’s not an ounce of objectivity to the statements of these sorts of guys. They WANT it to be true that America is going to collapse…so they just simply say so and work back from there. Why anyone would listen to such absurdity is beyond me.

One thing should be noted…anyone who thought this kind of bullshit, anti-American ranting from overseas was going to end simply because President Obama had been elected was sorely mistaken.

Interesting how he makes no mention of how his country not only beat gay revelers at the gay pride parade in Moscow but also attacked the mayor of Paris, who attended.

This man is channeling Rev. Falwell. Remember when he and old brother (Pat) Robertson claimed the day after 9-11 those same reasons were why we were attacked?

Who knows if the U.S. will break up?

One thing I do know for sure, it certainly won’t break up along the cookie-cutter lines this fellow predicts.

If you look at his maps it’s obvious he hasn’t done his research and hasn’t got a clue about North American cultures, economies, resources or even climate and geography.

Geez… just noticed somebody brought this zombie thread back to life. Oh well.
