Since issuing several unsuccessful boycotts against corporations in favor of same-sex marriage and the “homosexual agenda,” the two women behind One Million Moms have announced beef with one of their biggest targets yet—Disney.
In an alert issued on their website, One Million Moms is warning families in the Orlando area to reschedule their June vacations, or at least steer clear of Disney World on June 1, which will mark the 23rd anniversary of the resort’s unofficial “Gay Day.”
According to One Million Moms, “not everyone there [Disney World] will be excited, innocent children anticipating a fun weekend at Disney World,” which is concerning because everyone’s best childhood memories should be constructed around groups of bigoted, close-minded adults opposed to social change. “The first Saturday in June, homosexuals, bisexuals and transvestites will be at the Magic Kingdom with an agenda and purpose different than what would be expected at Disney.”
The alert continues:
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
Homosexuals will be celebrating the 23rd anniversary of Gay Day wearing matching Gay Day merchandise, such as T-shirts. There will also be transvestites dressed in drag showing their support for the event. This event is planned with the intent to expose and desensitize children to this lifestyle by same-sex couples holding hands, hugging and kissing. In short, a Gay Day participant’s main goal is to be seen versus seeing Disney World.
Attacking Disney—a company that’s more or less responsible for raising generations of high-functioning adults with messages of acceptance—is OMM’s most despicable feat yet. If there’s any organization with the authority to decide what is and isn’t decent for children’s eyes, it’s Disney.
But there’s one major design flaw in OMM’s boycott that removes Disney from the equation entirely: Gay Days is not (and has never been) promoted or endorsed by Disney. The event itself is executed by a completely separate organization (which, by the way, has corporate sponsors including Bud Light, Ketel One, and the city of Las Vegas’ Tourism Bureau).
OMM claims Disney representatives are irresponsible for “going along” with the swarms of homosexuals entering the park on June 1, and should “monitor this day and event for public displays of affection and require proper conduct and appropriate attire.”
Agh! How dare the most magical place on Earth let happy couples and happy children express love, genuine excitement and joy! Don’t you silly “homosexuals, bisexuals and transvestites” know that “feeling the magic” is a right reserved exclusively for miserable mothers “protecting” their children from something they were never bothered by in the first place?! Sheesh!

Dammit 100 cranky bitch mothers, I really wish you would focus on raising the next generation of fucked up children and let me alone…
Until now I had no desire to go to Florida in June, but now I want to go to Disney World on June 1, drink a Bud Light and some Vodka and plan my next trip to Las Vegas. Dammit!

So none of these “Moms” and their supporters will be in the park? Sounds like a great day to visit.
Atomicrob
Perfect time to go to Disney World . . . no crabby, homophobic mothers.

One Million Moms (minus ~950K) and another one of their oh-so-successful boycotts….

Million Moms (really more like 50,000) should team up with Westboro. They’d make a great pair.
Homophile
Everyone knows Mickey Mouse’s dog was gay, and Goofy was his lover.

Please, when will they boycott The Earth and fly a tin can to Mars? I expect they will next issue a boycott of Disneyland for the Gay Days celebration in early October. I am a bit dismayed at the record lines and crowds at Disney… Lol.

Gotta love their “logic” – they really think “boycotting” Disney one day a year but not the other 364, over an event that Disney doesn’t run anyway, will have an effect?
Can’t wait to see their next boycott!

Given how their boycotts of Home Depot and Starbucks worked out, now is a good time to buy Disney stock.

Do the 10 angry moms realize that the new president of Disney is gay?

“There will also be transvestites”
I always wondered why Cinderella wore that heavy layer of foundation.

If you click on the above link “issued” and “Take Action,” you can alter the subject and message body of their email to say anything. I just sent a “Kudos to Disney” for their inclusiveness email to Robert Iger, etc.

@March Hare: Thanks for the hint. I have already sent one with the following message
As a GAY MAN, neither a mom and nor a member of the radically, short-sighted OneMillionMoms.com, I applaud your inclusiveness by giving witness to future Gay Days at the Magic Kingdom.
I look forward to hearing back from you regarding how you are protecting all children regardless of race, religion, creed, or sexual orientation.
I’m using all of the e-mails available to me through my provider. What the heck!

So NOM and the One Million Mutants are going to ‘boycott’ Disney Gay Day! I can hardly wait! If it is as successful as their last go-rounds, there will be plenty of squeezing and rubbing to go around, heh heh heh. Little rug rats aren’t welcome there anyway on our day!

1) visit this page ( http://onemillionmoms.com/issues/june-1-gay-pride-day-at-disney/);
2) click on the “EMAIL NOW” link.
3) replace their text of hatred with the text below (edited as you see fit); and
4) send it.
As a rounded human being and not a member of OneMillionMoms.com, I insist you uphold your policy and protect unsuspecting families and children from being forced to be a captive audience to bigotry and allow them to witness future Gay Days at the Magic Kingdom.
We have learned the presence of Gay Day patrons is so obvious that thousands of bogots have left the park in prior years, making it a much more pleasant place. Over twenty years, tens of thousands of families with children have been forced to either get on with their fun or otherwise spite themselves because they hold a particular set of views.
Disney World certainly has the right to adopt and enforce company policy that upholds the rights of its employees and patrons and to protect thousands of children from being bullied because they are gay.
Please stop this offensive objection to a peaceful event from occurring in the midst of thousands of children by requiring proper conduct while monitoring inappropriate behavior, public displays of aggression and dress code (seriously, have you seen the way some of these million moms dress – they should be praying for a gay son to sort out their fashion sense!) If patrons cannot restrain themselves from outbursts of hatred, then they should be asked to leave the park. This should always be policed, but especially on June 1, also known as Gay Pride Day.
I look forward to hearing back from you regarding my concern.

@kxm: Kudos! Much, much more impressive than my thoughts. Good job.

I’m quite certain Disney is quivering in their boots about this boycott! lol!!!! I seem to recall the massive failure that was the southern baptist boycott because disney gave same-sex partner benefits, yet they gave up as they had “bigger battles to fight”… when your dealing with a company that doesn’t care about 100 less guests, well your boycott is NOT going to work!

@kxm:
I’ve just followed the url and pasted the ‘new’ comment from the ‘little ladies ( term loosely used here) who have nothing better to do’ website.
All of us who can should visit on June 1st…………..

I have a feeling that One Million Moms is actually just a couple of old Republican bitches in Texas who can’t stand the world.

@kxm: Damn! That felt good!! Thank you, kxm, for the OMM link!!
